He’s like the guy in a group project that doesn’t show up until the day before the presentation but takes the credit anyway.

I don't get your analogy. How is he like that? He's obviously put in the work over the last two summers and we are seeing the results. He has become a solid NBA back up center. How is that showing up on the last day and taking the credit?

His development may have come late, but it's finally come and he deserves credit for not giving up and just cashing his paychecks. The guy is set for life financially and was the forum and fan whipping boy for years. He could have just said "fuck you all" retired young and rich. Instead, he kept working and it has paid off. He's leading the league in 3FG%, is a solid rebounder and passer, sets the best screens on the team and is no longer a negative defender.

Any hate he receives this year is irrational and unfounded. The past is the past. Just appreciate what we have now.
