I agree with you that the theory of assists = greater offensive efficency because that makes the most logical sense. I'm just telling you the data doesn't back it up. If you have a large data sample, league wide over many years that says otherwise, I'll gladly stand corrected.

It wasn't long ago people were saying "Why doesn't coach X post up every time because a 5ft shot is easier than a 20ft shot." This was the logical belief for many years until people saw the data didn't back it up.
 
I hate to say it when Trent come back Stotts might try him for Simons in rotation. Simons right now is struggling there.

we’re likely stuck in some shit contract with Nike that requires us to wear them for x amount of games.

It’s not just that they are cursed, they are also ugly as fuck. They look like they were designed by an imbecile who forgot he had to leave room for the team name.

I cant believe more folks are not pushing for the lottery pick and going full development. The West was advertised as wide open, but it's really not close to being open. Lakers and Clippers the only teams that can win the conference and it’s not even close. Give me the lottery pick and let’s run it back healthy next year and new pieces

To me, this question is easier today than it was at the start of the season. If you're looking at finishing between 7th-11th, there's no reason to hang on to Whiteside, regardless of Nurk's availability. So, it'a a simple yes in my book.
