The positive of the game Dame 41 Nurk Double Double and Nik 18 off the bench. Negative 1st half defense and end the game free throws. But I always say every win is good.

I missed the first half, but Portland didn't start playing defense in the 3rd quarter until they stopped trading baskets with Orlando.
Therefore they were not playing extra hard.

also, who doesn't play Orlando without Gordon? Guy is always injured.

Not really.
It looked like until Portland started getting stops late in the 3rd quarter. That Portland believed they could out score them.
The post game interview from Lillard basically throws your 'omg they were playing so hard' out the door.

And at the end of the day Orlando early in the season has pushed or beaten Tor, Philly, LAL, (blowout to Denver) and now Portland.
Orlando is playing well and they believe they can make the playoffs in the East.

I get it, but seriously after the last few games, they just needed to win one, ugly or not doesn't matter. Style points don't matter when they call up play off teams. At this point they should just be glad they didn't choke that away no matter how hard they were trying. A win is a win at this point.

But they could've easily hung their heads after that first half. Hopefully the win boosts their confidence a little.
