I apologize, I didn't mean to hurt your feelings. Considering that the Knicks and Nets just played two days ago and there is a "I hate the Knicks" thread, I think I have the right to trash talk. Especially since many Nets fans truly believe that their team is significantly better than the Knicks despite being just a single game ahead of them in the standings.

Btw, Knicks to Nets is nothing like Bobcats to Spurs though.

Really? Because there's been a TON of trash talking against his Knicks and so far we've lost to the Knicks this year, and lost last year's season series 3-1.
 
This is us settling down to the level most people expected coming in to the season.

There is a "Why do you hate the Knicks so????" thread and you posting on this forum basically explains it. No surprise a Knicks fan could be so smug posting on another teams board because the Knicks suck a little less than the last several years where they have been so dysfunctional and pure garbage. If you can let a little bit of "succcess" this season go to your head imagine how irritating and annoying Knicks fans would be if the Knicks actually experienced real success. Here's to hoping it doesn't happen anytime soon.

They hate the Knicks because of Mr. J? That's weird, I didn't see that response in that thread.

Oh yeah, and look up a thing called "trash talk." Nets fans have been giving a lot of unsubstantiated smack talk to Mr. J, and he's responding as the Knicks have taken it to the Nets the past year and a half. Live with it, and don't be so butthurt.

The Knicks have sucked so bad for so long yet their fans still have the nerve to trash talk other teams like they do when they experience a little bit of "success". Anyone can talk trash whenever they want. But when it's coming from a fan from a team that has been as bad as the Knicks have been the last several years, it looks ridiculous and thats what I pointed out. Mr. J is free to talk trash and I am free to point out how riduculous he looks being a Knick fan.

Last year we lost a lot more games than we won. Does that mean we were ridiculous for praising our team after wins, especially against posters of the teams we beat?

And yeah, quit being so silly about him talking trash. I guess according to you if someone's team gets better they can't be excited about that.

He is free to talk trash if he wants, and I am free to think it's ridiculous and point out why. I haven't placed any restrictions on him that stops him from talking trash. I'm just responding back:

Where did I say it's wrong to praise your team? He's here to try and rub in a loss by the Nets and the Knicks didn't even play the Nets tonight.

I guess there's a rule that says you can only post in a game thread on the day that game is played. Uh oh! It's past midnight eastern time, no Raptors fan can post about their victory here or NOMAM will yell at them!
