And I am not fooled by Meyers: he plays well against slow offense. That's a rare type of offense that we play against in the West.

I have a couple of criticisms about Dame in the pick, and roll. Firstly, he seems to make his mind up very early, and either takes it to the rim himself, or passes; he doesn't seem to assess the defense, and adjust. Secondly, he seems to pass the ball to the rolling big too early, leaving them with a lot of work to do, or most usually a mid range jumper. I think the two are related.

I don't know why our guards don't get the ball to Leonard for 3 on the pick and roll rather than passing to PlanB or Harkless. Meyers, for all his flaws, is a hell of a lot better shooter than those two yahoos.

I blame the coaching for how meyers is. If he was in the paint, he would be 10x a better player.

Feels like our defense has gotten significantly worse since Connaughton began starting. Offense has also improved, though. Hopefully we can find an upgrade either internally or externally.
