I swear some of you guys actually revvel in these losses. Good thing i popped sleep meds tonight.

We could be getting the same results with a roster that costs half of what it does this season. This team is fundamentally flawed.

What a horribly embarrassing loss to a team with basically one starter, an all rookie back court and they couldn't hit the broad side of a barn. Doesn't matter.....Stotts wouldn't double team Michael Jordan if he was playing with 4 grandma's from the YWCA. Little energy, no one attacking the rim....just a 'turrble' loss after giving one away last night.

Fucking idiotic game tonight. We pissed that away. Stotts did not coach a good game at all.
It was like he thought Memphis was so bad that he could use this game for Aminu to try and find his shooting touch.

They gotta really stop playing like idiots and going to people who are cold as shit (Plumlee and Aminu come to mind).

They went away from what was working and earned themselves this loss. They don't seem to be learning anything from the games this year, and have shown 0 growth from last year.

This must be what it's like to be a Denver, Sacramento or Minnesota fan.

Yeah let's make the back to back excuse when we were up 13 with 5 to go...okay. Not to mention the Grizzlies fg percentage was shit, that's even more embarrassing

I don't buy that back to back excuse. These are professional athletes. I was able to play back-to-back-to-backs in high school and manage not to play like shit. I feel like the back to back thing is just a cop out.
you don't fly across the country in high school...get in at 3 am and play to a hostile NBA crowd against NBA competition....not even in the same ballpark...sucks to lose though, I get that

Memphis is 16 and 8, and had won 4 straight prior to tonight. theyre also 12-0 in games decided by 3 or less. this wasnt the sixers we lost to on the second night of a b2b.

Have some perspective. jeez

Perspective?! Memphis missing half its starting lineup is 16-8. We, with a supposedly deep team with tons of talent, are 12-12. What am I missing?!

When was the last time either of those teams even reached .500

I felt that loss coming on in the 4th, even though we were up 7, Memphis was just playing with a lot more energy and toughness. Sometimes, this team looks like it's getting bullied physically and mentally.

Where is kingspeed to tell us we are elite with aminu and all that nonsense? I will call out him just as I do tunchi when we do good. This team mostly this season have been so bad, it's definitely concerning

Yup

I think the future is bright tho with dame Cj and Harkless

Everybody else is beyond trash. We need a lottery pick bad this year. This 39-41 win season is not going to do shit. Not a damn thing but waste Dame's prime. We already wasted tons of time last year with that useless season

The best thing to do for us is keep playing the way we are (which is bad) then shut it down that last month of the season like we did Dame's rookie year. Which btw got us Cj

Glad I just saw that very end. Lord knows I would have a field day with the refs again who constantly prove they are fucking idiots.
Ya like the refs are to blame for this loss. The Blazers had more than 1chance to win this game.

They're just not that good that's why you saw it coming

They are doing well with the M*A*S*H* unit they are rolling out there....but they are still massively depleted. They just played harder and smarter with a lot less talent. Sadly, that is who this Blazer team is. Even on the few nights they have a talent advantage, they either don't play hard, make silly/dumb mistakes or make no defensive adjustments what so ever.

Memphis has a tendency to do that

Yep they deserved to lose this. Absolutely pathetic game. Too many wasted possessions where they could have buried them and they let them hang around with players taking shots that they should not be taking.
Stotts has to stop giving them all free reign.
I can live with ET trying ONE 3 ball like he did tonight, but six for Aminu? And Plums needs to know when he is cold and stop shooting.

Meh. I saw our guys playing plenty hard. we were up double digits with 5 mins left. even with Gasol going off, everyone else was being held in check. Hell, thy were shooting in the low 30s most of the night.

Late game execution cost us tonight and guys clearly looked worn out. Memphis on the tailend of a b2b is fucking brutal. 48 mins of bumping, fighting, etc.

But again, they are professional athletes. This is what they do.
and every night one team loses....we lost on their turf after a tough loss a few hours earlier ...it happens in pro sports...
