EMBARRASSING! Pathetic performance. Totally heartless. Smith Jr. , Zeller, and Nance were the only ones who looked like cared. CJ has become a basket case. Nurk has forgot how to block shots. I give Powell a little slack due to that broken nose. But those end of the bench assclowns who didn't give a shit about Prichard bitch slapping them makes me sick. Thanks Neal for loading our bench with brick layers. I hate when Chauncey throws in the flag because i know those guys CAN'T play dead. Other teams at least have guys who can shoot. Man! Brutal!

I don't think him saying that is helpful. I'm not very tactful myself but his previous statements about effort do not need to be made in public.
If I was worried about effort, I think I would sit down with the team and ask them if they thought effort was lacking and if so, why.

I think there was real logic in running the conservative scheme we did. When you're really weak in one area, you don't want to put them in a position where you need to be extra good defensively.

But some people here swore up and down it was Stotts and his drop scheme. Those of us who questioned it were idiots, Stotts-apologists, blind, etc.

Its institutionalized. Outside our guards we aren’t bad defensively. But in today’s NBA once the guards get burnt it’s lights OUT

You could say that about every game though. I've seen some BAD losses in more meaingful games. This didn't feel like the worst loss I've seen, but it was a really bad one.

Your opinion is valid if you feel its the worse you've seen.
I’m talking only about effort, competitiveness, body language, etc. The stuff that is 100% controllable

We got rid of both.

The healing begins. We are just in those first few moments of pain after ripping off the band aid.

I know there have been plenty of CJ fans, at different times, saying that kind of loopy shit for years. It has never withstood any scrutiny

I have actually had people tell me that CJ was better than Devin Booker, Zach Lavine, Khris Middleton, and Jalen Brown

CJ would be a good 6th man if he shot 5-7 fewer times a game, had an assisted FG rate around 60%, and was paid 15-18M a year. Instead, he is 7th in the league in FGA's while ranking 270th in TS%. That's fucking ridiculous

You can add pre-injury Klay Thompson to that list, and pre-injury Wes Matthews. Now that he has made the transition to high volume/low efficency no-conscience-gunner he is firmly on the short list for the league's worst contract.

Perfect. Who cares about the score. Just keep losing. We need to rebuild. Go Timbers

he's gone, you can stop beating your olshey dead horse now.

LOL...WUT? Are you defending Olshey's honor or arguing the legal meaning of quotation marks? I can't tell

and by the way, you still trash Stotts and just tonight trashed Kanter. They have been "gone" a lot longer that Olshey has

Plan C:

Sell off Dame, CJ, RoCo, Nurk for young assets and multiple 1s

Make the Lottery

Keep 28 year olds Norm and Nance as the new leaders of the younger team(I like their toughness and character)

Swing the Simmons deal (most likely a Dame package)

Start over with a lineup of…

Simons/Maxey
Norm
Little/Thybulle
Nance/GB3
Simmons

Add our 2 1s and at least 3 more 1s (over this and next season) for the guys traded.

Unpopular yes but resets the timeline, we have been the same exact team for the past 8 years and it isn’t good enough, Dame is 33 next season.
