Interesting look this game provides. Blazers starters match up better than last year. It's the bench depth that will hurt the Blazers.

This game will provide the perfect look at why the Blazers will need to fill a roster spot and try to add some depth. I'm betting you see the starters play close in this game and the Nuggets will abuse the Blazers when the rotations start. Right now they have no answer for Beasly, Craig, Plumlee, Grant, Hernangomez.

Need a big game from Melo on this one.

I agree with this. Melo has to match what Milsap will bring. Stotts will need to continue to use Whiteside-Skal-Melo as a rotational group. Never not have two of them on the court.

I'm starting to see Melo hit what is beginning to look like a small wall? He has been in the league for a long time so he knows the ins and outs but it looks like his body is starting to feel the travel and schedule effects.

Blazers need to play a solid game here. I don't even care win or loose? Just play the game the right way and try to be in it at the end. A win could be a signature type win for the season at this point. A loss is pretty much expected by most.

Go Blazers!
Kjironman is a fan!!!

I’ll continue with my reverse psychology method. Blazers 0-2 road record

I think we have known this for awhile though right?
Probably right. But nonetheless it will be a tough game to win without more firepower. Stotts is gonna take a bunch of flak in the game thread I’m sure. Lack of bench!

Stotts is gonna take a bunch of flak in the game thread I’m sure.
I don't know why he would. He's going up against a more talented roster on the road. Did he get any flak in the Knicks thread? Why would he get any flak in the Denver one?

This will be one tough game for Portland. How to defend Milsap and/or Grant, not to mention Harris et al. Its clear Hassan will be on the court whenever Jokic is. That is what Stotts did in game 1 of the season and it went ok until the 4th. Fortunately Jokic only runs when corndogs are 2 for 1 at the quickee mart so Hassan should be ok.
