I knew if I posted about the Blazers settling for 3s that they'd come alive and win by settling for 3s.

I guess that makes me pogchamp.
 
Lillard is a clutch god. The gods have rewarded us after fuck up with sam bowie. If Lillard was shooting 25 x per game since his rookie season he kick jordan ass
 
You go cold on offense sometimes but you still need to play the other end when that's happened. Dame again come up with clutch buckets and Trent had one too. Covington with some big boards at the end help us with 5 straight victory's.

if i see embiid mentioned in MVP convos again, i'm gonna freak out. ben simmons is the guy that makes that team elite. Embiid increases their floor, but Ben increases their ceiling. Why national media people talk like Joel is the sole reason for their success baffles me.

and don't get me started on Luka/Steph being ahead of Dame.
 
OKC only calls one timeout in the last 4 min, 12 seconds during a 18-2 run. Don't see that often in late game situations.
 
This game reminded me of a similar Dame virtuoso performance against OKC. Everyone was exhausted and we just didn't have it, and Dame drops like 4 straight threes to end it.

 
6 players in double figures and Dame with a double double. Kanter with 20 boards. Covington with 6 blocks and 5 assist. 38 points off the bench and 26 assist. Overall I thought we play well there's few cold spots but again they figure how to win the game.
 
We miss every shot all 2nd half, both our point guards are in foul trouble, none of our 3 shooters--Lillard, Trent, Simon--function in the half, then with 3 minutes left, the light switches on, we suddenly shoot as we did in the 1st half, and win in double digits. This is unhealthy for the fans' hearts.

Also--that undrafted wrestler Lu Dort can be spectacular for several plays in a row. Wow.
 
The Blazers almost let a big lead slip away in OKC but Dame comes up clutch late once again as Portland wins their 5th straight! The Blazers Uprise Postgame Show will break down the game:

They didn't really have time. Their lead was gone in a blink of an eye and then they were more than a possession behind because we finished making 6 3s.

RoCo 6 blocked shots tonight, Enes 21 boards, Little 5-5 FG, 3-3 3s.

I just wish we had the presence of mind when OKC started their run to get something going to the basket, maybe get to the line to kind of stunt them. Maybe we don't have to go crazy from deep late if we valued possessions a little more earlier.

And, once again, the officials do us no favors. Tonight it wasn't just them calling it one way on one half of the court and another way on the other. It was missing obvious shooting fouls on the Thunder.
 
so anyway, we spent 4 days without power...the West Salem Hills is a disaster area, and not because of me by the way. I catch the 2nd half of this game and watch Dame go 1-10 on three's and think that he just doesn't have it tonight....than that happened

by the way, are there any OKC players that were there when Dame made that shot a couple of years ago?

I would say the large majority of games see multiple timeouts in the last 2 minutes. OKC had time to call more than one in the last 4 minutes.
