I like the fact that we're tied even though Dame only has 5 points. I think he'll come to life in this 3rd quarter. That doesn't necessarily mean that we'll get a big lead, just that Dame will start getting his. He does have 8 assists.

That was bad last 5 secs. But we got players that has put the ball on the ground before they do anything. Jones and sometimes will catch and shoot and sometimes Trent. But usually the majority they have to put the ball down.

I agree that it was a good challenge to take away 3 FTA. I think their point is that there is additional calculas to factor in:

1) Trent's FT%
2) Odds you'll win the jump ball (let's say it's 50%).
3) Average PPP you give up. (approx 1.1)
4) No ability challenge at the end of the game.
5) One less personal foul on Murray

I think the math was correct for Denver to challenge.

Trent's expected outcome = 2.3 points - 50% of 1.1 = expected value of 1.7 points saved on the challenge.

Didn't they used to let a defender lay his forearm on you pretty hard, especially with the bigs? I seem to remember guys doing that to Aldridge all the time. Has the rule changed or has the enforcement of the rule been cranked up?
