Do you think Dame will shoot from half court this season (not in an end-of-the-clock scenario) ?

Jokic has to be mvp this year. He single handily with no help till Murray decided he was healthy again destroyed us. I see why he’s top 3 in the mvp race

Not quite as bad? Their 4 worst scorers put up 24, ours put up 5. Nearly 5 times as many points.

I was looking at their 3 worst going 4 for 16 vs those you quoted going 2 for 15.

This disrespect against Dame from the refs is getting ridiculous and tonight it jumped the shark. They allowed Campazzo to mug Dame like he was Bruce Bowen. As much as you don’t like it, Stotts and Dame need to play the media game and call them out publicly.
I told you this earlier. Dame fucked up he was a dumb ass. He went against scott foster even posted on Twitter about “ i was called for a foul on this” And now scott foster put a Hit on Lillard. Every refing crew is giving him AI treatment. AI went against the refs and paid huge price in his career. Now his ass is paying hefty price. Never go against scott foster he is godfather and shot caller of all refs in nba

Got it. Even if you flip flop their worst 3 scoring 15 with our worst 4 scoring 5, we win easy.

Dame's shooting hasn't been as efficient. That's one thing but I just don't think the team is playing with enough energy.

Dame's trying to do too much. I know it could be argued that he has to. I don't think that's the case. There's a point where you have to expect your teammates to be able to make basic plays.

He's gotta get his team more wins. The guy plays well but even tonight with so many guys out, he has really good players around him: Murray, Morris, MPJ and The Thrill. That's not bad... a lot of shooters to give him space.

At the end of the day who gives a shit. This team or the lakers are winning the title when it’s all said and done. The nba is bullshit like that

What happens when you lose must win games?

The Blazers make a lot of games must-win because they fritter away too many games they should win.

Each game is a microcosm of that. We get a lead and everything thinks that gives them the freedom to take questionable shots. And then every game comes down to the last minute or the last couple of possessions and we drop games we shouldn't because you've allowed them to remain close.

I don't know, he gets it to teammates to set up their own stuff and the ball just stalls. He's dishing dimes all day long. The guy is being asked to do too much. It's like without CJ's iso shit, Stotts has no other ideas how to initiate offense... oh besides Melo's iso shit. Stuff should run through Dame but there should be options when everyone on the opposing team sells out on him.

Can't you say that about most NBA teams?

I don't think Kanter was that bad. He knows you can't play Jokic tight or he spins around you and then if he has a clear path to the basket he lays it in. If not he makes a pass to a guy wide open for the corner three. Those are the two most efficient shots in basketball.
Without Gary Harris out, we maybe should have figured out how to help Kanter more.

Never go against any ref in public. I agree this might be what is happening.

Kind of hard to win when you only force 1 turnover.

For those who have been wanting to see how Kanter would defend at 30ft... there you go!

Horrible idea!

sure looked like the coaches were urging Kanter to go all the way out there

Stotts with 2 boneheaded, head-scratching, baffling defensive decisions the last 2 games. First starting Dame on Booker allowing him to go 6/8 for 17 first quarter points. Then instructing Kanter to press up on Jokic 40ft from the basket when it was only a 2 possession game.

I just don’t get it. I just don’t get it. I just don’t get.

I don't disagree with that. Obviously, he's incredible.

Tonight, though, 5 turnovers and 4-11 from 3.

Last night, 6 turnovers and 1-7 from 3.

Against the Wiz, 3 turnovers and 7-17 from 3.

A lot of those turnovers in these last 2 games were in the 1st quarter. It's not like he's being forced to try to make a spectacular play when he tries to slip through the defense and Kanter on the pick-and-roll with 2 other defenders waiting for him 3 minutes into the game.

People remarked about the way he left the court at the end of the Washington game. I think maybe he thinks he has to do it all himself, but I think that's just going to make things worse. Guys have to start valuing possessions, understand time, score, flow, momentum, make open shots, talk on defense, not save the ball under your own bucket ... but Dame's not helping things by playing like we're down 7 and we have 2 minutes left when, in reality, we just tipped off.

Yes which is why a smart team can go a long way by just being smart. Take back Dames 3 wild ass passes and you have a shot at this game. And there were many other dumb plays.

Denver favored by 7
I predicted a 20 point loss
Lost by 5

I agree. It was a TERRIBLE idea. But I only defend Stotts, so this will be written in invisible ink.
