So it begs the question. If Meyers continues to play like this and contributes like this in ways that help the team win what would you expect him to do?

Meyers is shooting 50% and 44% from 3 pt. His per 36 is over 15 points and 11 rebs. He is getting 3.2 assists and is a 84% free throw shooter.
His offensive rating is 128 and defensive rating is 110.
He is giving them an average of 12 mins a game as a backup and can take some of the load when Nurk gets in foul trouble.

What is Meyers Leonard worth?

If Meyers plays like this consistently for the rest of the season and next season, then talks can be had. He is entering the final year of his deal after this season, so I believe he is eligible for an extension, which I don't want to see happen. I was kind of making my comment as a joke, but with the way Neil takes care of his draft picks, you never know.

Bench and Dame played really well today. Moe played well too. Gasol is just a really bad match up for Nurkic at this point.

Very excited to see the Blazers win some games. Good pick me up!

As in past years Blazers first 1/3-1/2 season are always used trying new combo's and allowing injured players (Moe) time to heal up, and for a rotation to shake out. Not unlike what other teams do as well.
The 2nd half of season, imo, will be very telling on what NO's plan will be going forward to year five next season. Does he before the deadline, pull off a trade that will indeed improve the team, never any guarantees, or does he look to acquire 1st round picks through trades, does he let it ride in hopes that the team ratchet's it up for playoffs and advances. Does he want to face another 1st round loss or is he confident enough in the youngsters, to make it happen next year?

Im guessing a trade involving anyone other than Dame is possible.

I want him to play good enough for him to get off the team. So I cheer for him to be good enough for that. Because he will regress.

I look at Nik Curry Aminu all be to subject to trade at deadline due there expiring contact. There also Layman and Baldwin. But my believe if there is a trade it be small one to attempt to get under the luxury tax.

That really isn't correct. Meyers was one of the only bright spots against the Warriors
M. Leonard 12:45 4-6 FG's 8 points and 6 rebs with 2 ast. No Blocks

It was a blowout but Nurk and Meyers played well. Collins on the other hand, had a bad game. Seems like this is where i have problems with Terry Stotts also. No question the Blazers had some advantages in that game but they didn't abuse the Warriors the way i think he could have. However i was not on the sidelines and it is always easy to judge from my couch.
