I need more time to read these fighting game threads, so I just watched my last game of the season. From now on, my monthly highlights will be reading the thread during the game in real time while picking fights, and as you all know, the monthly trip to Costco.

Our players are the best. There's Gobert, Rubio, the rookie shooter without Lillard's range, the guy at SF who misses all his shots, and whoever plays PF. I know these guys like the back of my hand.

You're complaining about Aminu over 20 shots, yet you get mad when he talks about shooting good tonight.

When he pulls out Aminu's season average, you still bitch about it.

Everyone knows you don't like Aminu. We get it. Give it a break.

I've been giving Aminu props all year.

Aminu goes 3 for 21, I say "His shooting is back in the toilet".. Basically, he's been shooting shitty lately.
Kingspeed interprets it as me saying he can't shoot at all, pulls out his seasonal average as a rebuttal to me saying he's shooting poor lately.
Afterwards, Aminu shoots well, and Kingspeed says Aminu's 3's tonight are making me "look foolish", however I never said he couldn't shoot, just that his shooting had been shit as of late, which I tried to explain to him, to no avail.

Damn, nobody can say he's shooting poor over a few games without the homers throwing a fit about it.

That's literally all I said. Kingspeed freaked out. I would've given Aminu props on tonight regardless.

So people who are negative about the team make you mad and now people who are "homers" about the team make you mad.

Why? You're a great basketball player, you're extremely knowledgeable about the game, isn't that enough? Why does everyone have to agree with your opinions 100% or else you get upset? You say that people are throwing a fit? What exactly have you been doing tonight? I've had to edit multiple posts of yours tonight for personal insults including one after you said you would stop. Why let what people post get you that upset?

It's not about people not agreeing with my opinions, it's people that take my words out of context and then twist them to fit their narrative of calling me a "fool", and then people overreact to my take on Aminu, calling me an Aminu hater and saying I'm ripping Aminu when basically, all I said is he's been shooting poor lately.

And when did I insult someone after that post?

I read the entire thread. I know how the conversation went down. As a by-standard in this, I thought you were the antagonist.

Right, wrong, or indifferent - you're use of "back in the toilet" insinuates that he can't shoot well & his season percentage so far were a fluke.

It was more a reference to his inconsistency. He'll shoot great for a stretch then have a stretch where he's absolute shit for a few games. In and out of the toilet his shooting goes. While I don't believe he's a 40% shooter, I believe he has the ability to be close to that while having the inability to shoot consistently for a season (it would be achieved through insanely hot streaks outweighing his massive cold streaks). I was making a comment about his inconsistency, and not insinuating what you thought I was... However:

I realized how some could take it which is why I tried to clarify to Kingspeed what I meant but he ignored that and continued to run with the words out of context, and throw insults at me based on the words that were twisted. That's why all his crap about his season average and his shooting tonight wasn't applicable to what I actually meant, and was only applicable to what he took out of context (which he ignored when I told him he was). With the basis of his twisting of words being me thinking "Aminu can't shoot" (which I never said, he twisted it into that), he used that to claim I didn't know what I was talking about because Aminu was shooting well tonight.

Even after I've clarified and explained this, I have people calling me an Aminu hater when I've given him props all year. Maybe you understand what I'm talking about now.
