not gonna win many games against even average teams with this defense. how have we shown no improvement at all on that end?

I love Kanter going against other teams second unit when the matchup is right, but like you, it's crazy we have to count on him as our only big.

We could have easily brought in a guy or different guys on 10 day contracts after Giles went down. It really is inexplicable why we wouldn't. Fire Olshey!

I've trashed Melo plenty and especially the reasons he was re-signed, but the Melo from the last 2-3 games has been a much different cat than a lot of the games that gave me indigestion

Our communication on defense is abysmal, which leads to a ton of open looks for the opposition ... don't get me started on our transition defense. Also, aside from Kanter, who is rebounding the ball for us? I feel like we've been getting dominated on the glass this entire season.

I don't think he's available, but I wonder how our team defense would look with a player like Draymond Green out there, acting as a "coach on the floor" and directing traffic.

I hadn't made that comparison, but I can kinda see. Nas has better range already. Not as strong as Kersey.

Specifically it does indeed count in the NBA. At one point Kevin Durant said he doesn't like to take them because they count against his stats.
But most people simply don't count them. In College it's up to the scorekeeper is what i have read.

So it seemed kind of weird how many times Hurd brought up how well they played against the Pelicans but i guess it was warranted.
The T-Wolves have some players that can heat up and make a game out of it any night. The Edwards kid is pretty good. We know Rubio and Towns can play. Nowell, Vanderbilt and Reid can all play pretty scrappy. Hernangomez can shoot the ball. They have players that could play better.

Yes, you had me double-checking. After the all-star game I got into it with a Warriors fan who was trashing Dame and saying Curry is the best deep shooter. That debate got me familiar with all the 3pt numbers by distance so I was pretty sure all the long ones are included. BTW Dame is a better deep (30+ ft) shooter than Curry.

We’ll have to offer Towns a Max deal over the Summer and have some (wink) arrangement worked out as this trade is made. We probably trade Rubio in the off season as we’ll need the cap space to sign Trent.

but this trade gets us a title in my opinion and after all...championships don’t come around often so let’s pull the trigger and bring in the pieces we need to win now - a really good big and a back-up PG that can run the team.

We’re doing great without CJ and Nurk...what if we could add Towns and Rubio to this squad? WOW! Beats LaMarcus Aldridge

I can't tell what score keepers didn't count, if any, but they counted all these 50'+ for Curry and Dame. All at period-end.

Big men in general are such a risky thing to hang your hopes on. They're hardly ever healthy.
