Several of the rah rah positive people (NOT ALL!) don't post much when the team is bad in general. I know a lot of people who have stopped watching the team this year. That leaves mostly people who are passionate about the team. The negativity sucks but I have to credit the people who still watch the games and make observations, good or bad.

I think it has a lot to do with the constant negative vibe this forum develops when the team is struggling and thus they either leave permanently or possibly temporarily. I know I get tired of the constant negativity of the same things over and over again. It's like that co worker many of us had at one time or another that comes to work every day complaining about the company and/or their job and never stop. You might agree with some of it, but to be barraged with this every day gets real old.

What are you talking about...?

Portland moves the ball better than normal, Toronto is more stagnant than normal, and look at the outcome.

I was giving someone a hard time for their comment previously.
See the green font and the rest of my posts in this thread.

Didn't know that was against the rules?

Never said anything was against the rules, I didnt really understand what you were trying to say, thats why I asked you.

What is there to be positive about? Neil made the decision to go all in because of one decent playoff run in which we still got swept in the conference finals. $148 mil payroll for a team 7 games below .500 near mid season, with no hope in sight for anything to change. Dame will be 30 next year and time is dwindling. Also, it seems like Neil assumes no other team will improve... Blazers have been passed up by better teams with younger talent. Losing Whiteside and getting Nurk off a broken leg, with no defensive wings will not change our fortunes next season. And with CJ and Stotts still here, Blazers will continue to lack ball movement and team play.

I respect your opinion, however to be fair most teams would struggle with three starters out for the year. I agree that coaching curve balls with what we have now would help, mix it up some and get away from slow down iso ball. I'd try letting letting Mario push it up and let Dame, play some off the ball.

I wish we were 'struggling' as much as Toronto with all the people they lost from last year and all the injuries they've had this year....

what players other than Leonard have they lost for the whole or most of the year? They are deeper thats for sure.

No one for most of the year? Many of those mentioned are nearing return from what I read. No doubt a lot of games, but if they lost Siakam, VanFleet, Serg for the same length as Nurk, Hood and Collins, I doubtb they'd have the same record as they do? maybe i'm wrong.
I wish we only lost Nurk, Collins and Hood for 20 or so games.

They also lost Danny Green from last year along with Kawhi. Huge part of several championship runs.

So is the person who complains about the complainer a complainer themselves?

If you dont want to extend the negativity, then say something positive about the complainer... Othetwise youre also the one complaining and magnifying it.

I understand that was some next level shit and I'm right.

So now you respond with negativity and that's okay? You must be magnifying it even more then. Funny how it works.

Key word, lately. There has been plenty of negativity throughout the season.
The tenor of the fanbase will reflect the team. This is a forum for posting your thoughts, its a bit different than a workplace. A workplace doesn't exist for people to communicate their thoughts...

But Strenuus isn't the one complaining about negativity, you are.

That's because most want to say negative things this season, but O-Livers like Cup get on their asses, so most lose motivation to read or post. O-Livers have cost Denny a lot of money.

Wrong. I'm not complaining about anything. I was merely proposing a reason why some have left. Not sure why you feel the need to butt in either. Search somewhere else kid.

I post less when the team is bad just because the forum's vibes get awful, but I do not watch less
