Fine, we love having a poor AST:TO ratio.
We have a league equal (with Phoenix) worst 1.34 A/TO ratio.

This game we had a 1.67 A/TO ratio, which (if we could do it consistently) would be equal with Boston for 11th in the league.

Making it a point of emphasis to move the ball more, share the scoring, whilst improving our A/TO ratio? Sounds good to me.

You should be happy. No?

Yeah, it's silly to determine how good a player is based on PT. Napier barely played last year.

No.
Napier plays behind Lillard and McCollum - the teams strengths.
Layman plays behind Mo, AFA, Rvan - the teams weaknesses.

So if Jake cant play on this team he is a terrible NBA player. Which he is.

AFA is not a weakness. But who is Rvan?

Edit: Oh Evan Turner

Yeah the teams small forwards are a strength not a weakness. Right.
Small forward is absolutely a weakness but AFA himself is not a weaknesses. AFA and Davis were outstanding signings by Neil. They work their asses off and Davis' finishes and Aminu's threes are directly connected to our wins.

They don't? Fans didn't say Pat needed to go try baseball because he had no future in the NBA...all based on garbage time last year? We do it every year.

Pat is the genius Irishman in the Tribe. He doesn't always execute what his brain is thinking, but his effin mind in totally in the game !!

Yet, there's still 24 guard minutes to be had behind Lillard and McCollum. So by extension, Napier basically played behind the same guys because Crabbe and Turner could play SF and yet still got guard minutes over Napier, as Stotts elected to use Crabbe at the 2 and Moe at the 3 a lot instead of Crabbe at the 3 with Napier at one of the guard spots.

Using lack of PT isn't a logical basis to claim a player is bad. Using the eye test and his god awful (actual) production is.

Ok whatever way you want to twist it. He sucks is what I’m saying.

So confident, beautiful stroke, so easy. What. The fuck. Happened? He's been awful ever since. Even in D League and Summer League.

It will be a question that will haunt sports fans for the rest of time. It just looks so pretty!

Watch the video. In his first game, Layman played catch-and-shoot. Since then, Stotts has him dribbling around like a SG, looking for a shot. All that fancy dribbling makes him miss. Stotts makes players play faster than they are capable of.

Instead of demanding that shooter forwards be 1-dimensional, let them play all facets (rebounding) and they may survive (see Babbitt in NBA, Rudy Fernandez in Europe).
