Props to Stotts. Without him leading us to Blazers deficit, Lillard wouldn't have the chance to perform these heroic acts over and over and over each season.
Oh boy. You're on a roll lately.

50 points by Dame...41 minutes too which is a concern considering the compressed schedule ahead

even with all of Dame's heroics, it still took some major choking by the Pels to give Portland a 1 point win

I'm thinking Portland's 4th Q and the Pels choking might have won both games for the Blazers. Not sure if a young team can come back from that, although they have a day's rest

It's funny, the more I see Dame do this the more disappointed I get that the Blazers have never gotten him the help he needs to be a true contender. But I absolutely love being a Dame fan in every possible way.

My advice would be to spend this time enjoying the good parts and not being disappointed about the bad stuff. It would be a bummer to be disappointed during the Dame era.

I'm with you... I think a win next game is unlikely... but so was that comeback!

There's much more truth to that than what he probably wants to admit.

He seems pretty consistent in thinking it's about the players and not him. I worry about the coaches who think they're a big part of the outcome of games; pretty delusional of them.

Perhaps the most depressing win this season.

We won but it's a glimpse of things to come for the rest of the season.

Dwight Jaynes twitter works perfectly fine when we're down double digits, then magically stops working during the comeback. So strange.
There are some posters on here who only show up when the blazers are down to criticize them and magically disappear when the go on the run and win.

Yes there are... seemingly happier when they're complaining than when we're winning.

How do you get that? They will rarely shoot that poorly and they will have their starting Center back in the next week or two.
I just don't see them having the same issues when they have two true centers and CJ get in better shape?(He was obviously out of shape tonight)

Or they beat them twice tonight? You know the Blazers will shoot better next game than they did this game.

That's what I'm hoping for. Keep your positivity my friend, we need more of it!

For the record, I'm going to miss a good chunk of tomorrow game live so I won't be able to post (win or loss); this will certainly be an early christmas gift for some of you!

Our offense and defense was absolute dog shit. I think we will shoot like this plenty. The degree of difficultly to our shots is ridiculous since we don't pass the ball to get anything open at the rim.

So putrid.

We'll win on Thursday if we bring that same energy and intensity on defense we brought over the final six+ minutes of the game.
We would be about a .700 team if we played that locked in on defense... that is we would be there right now. With the upcoming schedule I don't know if we'd end up there at the end of the season but probably close.
