Not cool to assume someones fandom. . Sorry, Eric... but come on.
He's more subtle than Tunchi, but it's the same thing.

EDIT: Not that I think Tunchi should have been banned or that trolling should be a ban-able offence.

Crane, CJ and Dame all had great offensive Ganges and Plums almost garnered a triple double....But they just couldn't get a stop.

For the 2nd year in a row, Reggie Jackson was the best guard on the court in the 4th quarter.

Reggie Jackson is good.

We got a stop at the end of regulation and OT.

He is good.... But our guards defense the last two years has turned him into Michael Jordan. 26 pints in the 4th last year and this year leads them back from a 7 point deficit. ...Both times on the road.

Didn't matter in the end last year (Pistons got bounced in East first round and we went to second round) and it won't matter in the end this year.

Our guards defense somehow is now tied to how the Pistons did in the Playoffs? I enjoy the banter bit that seems like quite a leap. We might make the #8 seed this year and if the Warriors can suffer a couple of injuries to their 2 best players, we might win another series.
As always, I appreciate the fandom though.

When you run out of an argument... you know.

Really don't like Dame's body language right now. He was scoreless in the 4th and both OTs and he was getting cooked on the other end. His head is constantly down and he looked a step slow. WTF happened to #lillardtime

Very little joy this season. Repeatedly, announcers used to say that we were a "happy" team even when we were losing last season. We look fuckin miserable now. When AC has a night like that, guys should be pumping him up and going nuts -- I saw none of that. It's translating to the play on the court, completely uninspired and lackluster. Dame needs a hard look in the mirror. We have anointed him as the leader, and he has to get this right.

Can I ask a favor, guys? When you respond to KS can you please quote him so I don't have to scroll through a one-sided argument with a troll?

I haven't even been watching the games lately. I just check the box score. What time did this game end last night? I just can't get interested in spending so much time to watch this crew. I liked 'em last year, but this year, something is missing. It's the least interested I've been in Blazer basketball in a long time.

It is unfortunate that they lost because from on offensive standpoint, this was one of their better games of the year. 30 points on 12-15 shooting from Crabbe. Are you kidding me? That kind of production off the bench should almost mean an automatic win. Hopefully we see more of that. Not expecting that efficiency but good to see that type of confidence.

20 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists from Dame. Was having a great night until the 4th quarter and OTs. 5 turnovers hurt and his defense on Jackson.....well, never mind. Similar thoughts for CJ. Score well on offense to ring up 35 points. Would liked to have seen him get the ball to Crabbe a little more who scored 30 points on 15 shots while CJ had 35 points on a whopping 28 shots. Then there was the defensive side where Jackson and KCP were actually outscoring Dame/CJ by two points.....in a one point loss. If out guards get outscored, we have almost no chance.

Then there was the near triple-double from Plumlee with 8 points, 10 rebounds and 12 assists. A tremendous offensive game but the only reason Drummond didn't have 40 points is because the guards were scoring at will so why keep giving him the rock for the easy jump hook.

Great offense, poor defense. Seems like we've heard this before. Detroit averages 99 points per game. Well, they did....

The most frustrating part about this team is their inability to build on leads. Once again, we took a nice 10-point lead late in the 3rd, 82-72, forced an opposing coach to call timeout, and then let them off the hook with two bad possessions in a row.

As for the poll question: Lillard's DRPM is minus 2.81; McCollum a little better at minus 2.41; BTW Crabbe's is minus 1.84, Turner minus 1.39.
Those seem to reflect pretty well what I see out there.

Our bench has no real scoring. It has some shooting. It relies on CJ or Dame being on the floor to provide that scoring.

Now that I have been looking these up; here are some other Blazer DRPM's. I don't think these are of much use comparing to guys on other teams but it seems within the same team they are useful. Aminu has a PLUS 2.13, confirming he is our best defender. Plumlee at plus .27, very average but not at the heart of the problem. Now, Harkless is almost the same as Plumlee at .23, reflecting, I think, his sometimes spectacular play but also that he loses focus a lot.

the fact of the matter is any other NBA team is going to score on at least every other possession against us, so our offense has to be golden state level of unstoppable to be even a .500 ballclub. Hence why we have 4 wins in the last month or whatever.
