Crabbe is shooting 42% from 3. It's not his fault that he gets less than 8 shots a game. How many points is he supposed to score off less than 8 shots a game? He scores 10 a game. Pretty fucking good.
 
So obviously, Crabbe has been checking in on our forums.... the only reason to explain his resurgence this game, is our incessant bitching

People have been bitching about the wrong thing. How is a shooting guard supposed to score a lot of points when he doesn't even get to shoot twice a quarter? Obviously he started the season in a shooting slump, but that ended a long time ago. The fact that he doesn't shoot 3 times a quarter is stupid as fuck.

He has more opportunities than 8 shots a game, he just doesn't take them. He dribbles and picks the ball up looking for dame or cj
 
"Crabbe doesn't get enough touches". OH REALLY?! I have seen it for myself, he gets touches, he just isn't aggressive. He settles in the role of spot up shooter when he can create his own shot as shown first half in the corner, took some dribbles and put up his shot and made it.

Terry Stotts, the "Billy Martin" of inbound plays.... minus the alcohol and bar brawling of course.
 
Allen Crabbe scored 17 of Portland's 26 points in the second quarter on 7-for-8 FG (3-3 3-PT).

We do. Crabbe is way too inconsistent as far as being aggressive, looking for shot goes. He shoots a good percentage but that's about it. He shows up one game and a few people are like "wow guys see I told you this is why we shouldn't trade Crabbe". Yeah only took him 30 something games to live up to his contract
 
I like seeing Plumlee out pressuring the ball on ball screens. He seems much more useful doing that than just standing in the paint waiting to get scored on.

Ok sure. He's been shooting 42% from three for a couple months now. He's been shooting 7 or less times a game all season though.

Bingo. I noticed that too. He's much more effective when you make him a focal point in the offense.

That has nothing to do with him getting the ball, has to do with him shooting it. As I said, he shoots a great percentage but too often he just doesn't shoot when he should

Ok well I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree. And it didn't take him 30 something games. His shooting slump only lasted like 10 games.
