The entire 4th quarter the score was screwed, one of the most frustrating things

I literally facepalmed. It was goaltending. Pay more attention if you're gonna claim the score is wrong...

Much rather have had Ed and Collins than that Meyers and Collins line up...

But would Ed have been ok with being out of the regular rotation?

For the millionth time, Zach wasn't going to play center at all with Ed and Nurk around and it's clearly his most effective position on both ends.

I also like Hark/Zach, Aminu/Zach in those 2nd units better than Ed/Zach....

What are you face palming for. Collins took the offensive rebound and made the basket (no goaltending, no block at all), the refs called an offensive foul on the rebound and rulled off the basket but the statistics crew still gave us the points

Just watched the highlights of the game and our defense is not good at all. Especially out on the perimeter. Right now there out scoring teams but how long will our offense will stay hot. If I was the coach I would be disappointed about the defense.

Unfortunately our coach only sees one side of the floor.

Sure most of that credit goes to Dame but none-the-less with offense being emphasized throughout the league, you have to have shooters on the floor.
Cj could have had 3 more assists if Nurk would not have hesitated on one dunk (he ended up getting fouled) and if Aminu would have hit two open shots.
We have added shooters at SF, now we we need to get better shooting out of our PF to keep pace with better teams.

Other teams bigs are shooting well from the outside against our "best" defenders, so I am starting to wonder if we should just counter with a center and 4 good shooters?

If Ed could shoot he’d still be here. Zach is a hybrid in the AD mold, he can play both front court positions. He’s still more of a PF to me. Traditional centers still give him more trouble than perimeter oriented players. But playing PF shouldn’t limit him to floating on the perimeter, especially offensively. He was forced into that last year because Davis was a non threat anywhere away from the rim. I want to see Collins start with Nurk. Look at how Portland played with Aldridge and Lopez. Collins and Nurk would be a more athletic version of that.

You will have to go back and rewatch. The ball was goaltended and still went in. Bucket counted.

The official play-by-play disagrees with your assessment.



If you're going to claim otherwise, you really should figure out a way to provide video evidence.

Just look at the last play in the Zach highlights shown in this thread 3 pages ago. It was a goaltend. We have the video proof - and it counted as it should have.

The commetators said goal tending becasue they didn't understand what the call was about but later corrected themselves to offensive foul which was obviously the call

If you watch the game and listen to the commentary they say offensive foul, they go something like "goaltending? ah no, offensive foul" and then they show an obvious offensive foul in the replay. There is no goaltending anyway because there was no block

I wish I was 15 years younger. We would've had some fun battles back when I actually had some explosiveness off the dribble.


I have to give Bones credit, he really has a nice all-around game. The part I was most impressed with is his effort on defense.

A bar owner in the Old West has just hired a timid new bartender.

The owner of the establishment is giving his new hire some instructions on running the place.
