I would say Harkless was one too. That cat can flat out play. It's so nice to have decent bench players

Agreed. We have a lot of toughness and length from the SF spot now. (Defense and rebounding)
We gave up nothing for both. Add AC to the mix and we have some nice versatility.

Add Simmons, Ingrahm or Murray and it's scary in a couple years.

I said I was going to wait for 20 games to see where we are... it's really hard to hold to that right now.

Really? 18 minutes of bad play and you turn on us? But after trouncing the Pelicans by 29 in 24 minutes, you say "let's wait and see." Right.
Those 40+ win predictions are kinda looking silly, aint they?:deadhorse::dancepenguin::dammit::fishing::goal::grim::iamsmiling::hater::growup::withstupid::jerry::koolaid::punk::smiley-alexis::sith::shitstorm::smiley-calista::smiley-closet::smiley-corbis::smiley-lol_hitting::smiley-oscar::smiley-officer::snort:

No they aren't.

Can we trade CJ yet? He may still have value.

Going into tonight's game, he was ranked 17th in the entire NBA for Yahoo Fantasy Basketball. He would be an All Star in the East no question. So yes, he has a LOT of value. Scores, rebounds, passes well, defends. Great player.

If Aminu is our consistent 2nd scorer.... we're in trouble.

CJ is too inconsistent.

No we're not. If Aminu is a consistent scorer (whether he's second or third), that's a GOOD thing!

Were gonna lose so many close games... this ft shooting is atrocious. Drives me nuts.

Again... I thought you were in wait and see mode. After 3.7 games, you already declare we'll lose so many close games?? This proves, when it's a NEGATIVE, you have no problem with making that determination right here and NOW, but if it's a POSITIVE, it's "wait and see." I count us at 1-0 in close games.

This team has a lot of holes. But tonight is fun!

Shouldn't you be waiting your 20 games before determining that we have a lot of holes?

This is going to overtime. Calling it.

And Aldridge is re-signing with us. Maybe you should stay away from predictions.

The Chief doesn't get the assists Nic did but I already trust his nightly effort much more. He fills multiple stat lines each night and doesn't disappear for several quarters at a time.

Aminu is much better than Batum.
Add Simmons, Ingrahm or Murray and it's scary in a couple years.

How we gonna get one of those guys? We are too good to get a pick that high.

Can't believe those Wolf fans are bitching about the refs. The Shabazz call, where he was rim checked and they called a foul on Plumlee for grazing the back of his jersey with his fingertips. The play where the TWolf lost the ball, and Aminu did not even touch him and they called a foul on Aminu. Rubio and Martin also acted like they were hit on shots, when they weren't touched, and went to the FT line. They also missed an offensive goaltend on the TWolves

If you've watched any NBA Draft Lotteries at all, you'll know the worst record rarely gets the #1 pick.

Also, on the first jump ball Towns fouled Plumlee and got away with it, on the 2nd one, they were fouling each other and Plumlee got the call, so it's even.

Not to mention the play where they wrestle Plumlee down to the ground rip the ball out of his arms and don't call a foul or a jump ball. Those maggots can go fuck themselves.

Re-watching the game and I'm really noticing how much time and how many mistakes it is going to take for Vonleh, but he shows so much potential that I look forward to the ride. Noah certainly looks like he's a few years away, but he's exactly where he needs to be - getting 20 minutes of meaningful game time each night. That is what its going to take for him, time. He's the kind of player who we are going to see someone completely new after a season under his belt, an off season to work on his game, and a training camp to put it all together. Going to be fun to watch this 20 year old progress.

That block by Aminu on towns late in the 4th was sick!

That's eerily similar to what people were saying about you when you first joined. Limit you to 20 posts a day and eventually you'll put it all together.

What a smart move by Plumlee. Towns grabs Masons wrist, so he grabs towns' arm, preventing it from getting all the way up to the ball. All the ref see's is one man with a considerable advantage, that man was towns, and he got called for the foul.

I still haven't selected my favorite player of the season. Does Plumlee get paid enough to afford a nose job?

I see to be the new jinx around here folks. 2-0 when I don't post in game threads and 0-2 when I do. So I ask you all, do you want to win more games or lose? I'll make sure to either show up or not depending on what my fellow Blazer fans want. ;)

We play 3 strong Quarters and the bench came through with 24 points.

Congrats on the marathon finish.

Firstly, if you are going to have a rule which relies on an imaginary vertical cylinder, why (with all the billions in the game) wouldn't you have a camera above every basket looking straight down, so you can judge if the ball has left said cylinder or not?

Secondly, just get rid of the stupid rule, and go with the FIBA rule which says that any ball that has hit the rim is fair game for everyone.

Halfway through the last quarter, whilst sitting on the bench; Dame gave Muhammad a mouthful, and Muhammad clearly wasn't happy. It was pretty funny, but I wonder what it was all about.

With many people complaining about LamBeibs poor shooting, I don't understand why isn't it mentioned that he is currently missing feeling in his shooting hand, since injuring it on opening night.

Does anywhere use a live score worm for NBA games? Like the ones used in Australian Football? I find it really shows the ebb, and flow of games.

Probably cuz it isn't the shooting hand he injured, but it could very well be affecting his shot anyway. I think it's more of a timing issue. His shot looks hurried.

This may be Stotts' last season here. He's not getting much out of our players. They have shown on their previous teams that they can be better than this.

Ha ha excellent sarcastic humor. Yup a bunch of minimum salary guys and out of rotation players last year.

If Dame can get close to 40% from the 3, and continue to finish at the rim like he is now, he's gonna be an all star again and a top 10 player.

Did Crabbe foul Martin on that last play? Just curious.
