Does Boogie make his team better?? He's a great stat stuffer. That's for sure.

He seems to play best when he is the focal point. Does he get in the same rhythm when Davis is on the floor?

This team rebounding like the old days. When your pounding the boards especially on the offense it take a toll on the other team. That means if they lost there legs maybe that was the reason they miss there shots even if they was open.

I don't know if you guys have noticed this or not, but the blazers have transformed into a team where winning is the default... not the exception. In every game this season (and pre-season) we've either had a chance to win or have won. Appreciate it... you could be a kings/knicks/pels/lolakers fan

You're going to lose 99 games out of 100 playing like this. The Pelicans really outplayed us tonight, they got a lot of open shots, and the Blazers had to scratch and claw for everything.

Abysmal performance by Damian. And just when you thought he may have finally gotten out of his funk, he misses to clutch FTs and dribbles right into a crowd of Pelicans on a fast break with no apparant idea what he was doing.

Someone might look at the box score and think he just had a bad shooting night, but he wasn't even getting off good attempts, he was just putting up crap. His attempts to drive were embarassing. I have no idea what is up with this guy. Is it the Vegan diet or whatever, but at times he seems intent on playing 1 on 2 or 1 on 3. He just plays right into the defenses hands.

Any quality team would have murdered us tonight.

And Nurk...it's 4 games into the season now, and he is not the same guy he was last year. Ed Davis has out played him by a long shot.

Statistically, this was Dame's worst game of his entire career, going 3/16 with 6 turnovers.

That's terrifying to me.

Did we deserve to win not really but they didn't either the way they play and someone had it might as well be us.

Do wet played awful, they played great, and we won, in a game that we would've last by double digits last year. I'll take it.

Whether we are or not remains to be seen but this is the kind of game that good teams win. Games that they didn't play great and that sometimes they had no business winning but that they played enough defense and rebounded well enough to sneak it out. I choose to see this a potential positive.

...anyone go to the game? Was the fan experience better, worse, or the same as the last couple seasons? The free t-shirt was cool again, but seemed very subdued overall...maybe it was just the poor shooting FG% :biglaugh: Spot on with @Boise Blazer though about good teams winning garbage looking games like this! 60+ rebounds is unreal.

Nice hard fought victory. Sucks for NO and Davis, not sure we win tonight if they have him. Dame has to be better, period.
