You know I always give you shit, but you do a great job on these threads bro.
One thing, is tough to put the players updated season stats next to their head shots? Curious how Dame is doing compared to Stef thru three games.

Impressive thread. Very nice.

I usually sell my tickets to the games that appeal to a national audience. I hate sitting near fans of the other teams, particularly when they are local Portland people, so I prefer to watch from the comfort of my La-Z-Boy on my tv. But there has been no interest in these tickets and there is a lot of inventory of tickets remaining for this game. Has the bandwagon moved on? Historically, I have had difficulty selling tickets to Kevin Durant and the OKC, so perhaps his presence on GSW is killing my ticket sales. It looks like I will be attending this game and I am looking forward to sitting near all my fellow Blazers fans at the Moda Center. Go Blazers.

Paul Allen has joined the board!

Sly, can I give him the rookie treatment? Now that HCP is over the hill at being the over the hill guy.

They're all still recovering from the broken ankles suffered when they had to switch to being Cavs fans after that ill-fated 3-1 lead....

Klay Thompson has become marginalized behind Steph and KD.
Warriors have no interior defense.
Philly has no shooting guards, and 3 lottery centers.
Blazers have a defensively-challenged backcourt.

IF IT WERE POSSIBLE, which team says no on a proposed trade sending CJ to Philly, Crabbe and Noel to Golden State, and Klay to Portland?

Portland and Golden State does.

I think we should win this game. The Warriors aren’t that good yet. Now, if we were playing this game a few months from now, that would be a different story. But I think there's no reason we should win this game especially at home

I see plenty of reason that we shouldn't win this game. There's nowhere to hide Dame defensively. Previously, we could have Dame guard Barnes or Iguodala. With this iteration of the Warriors, we have no choice but to have Dame attempt to guard someone who can/will torch him. Unless his defensive effort is stepped up massively over the span of the entire game, there's a very good chance that we won't be able to keep up with them.

God, I'm just thinking about how Kerr is going to exploit Stotts' penchant for switching on screens. Prepare for Dame guarding KD all night long! (Stotts HAS to be smart enough to not let that happen, right? Right?)

Philly shits themselves, Kerr throws himself on the ground and goes all out in a tantrum...and Neil gets a colletive slap in the fucking face by the fans, and is immediately placed in the dog house.

OK--based on both yours and Bones' responses, I guess I'm overvaluing Noel's defense and Klay's two-way abilities. Got it.

I agree Klay has become marginalized. He went from #2 to almost #4 behind Green...he can't be to happy...if Neil could just trick the warriors into giving him to us for nothing.

They played well in their last two games. It's not going to be an easy game. Turner better show the hell up...we need to have a healthy dose of attacking the basket, and to shoot a decent percentage from the three...thing is we can't let it become a three point contest. The defense is going to have show up tonight. I sense a very physical game....shit is gonna go down...there is gonna be some T' s tonight...maybe a couple mini brawl moments....we need to stay composed out there, use that emotion for good, and not let it or the refs take us out of this game.

It's not the size of the dog in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the dog

Basically CJ and Crabbe for Klay?

No thanks...

Klay=Overrated in my book. just on a great team with great teammates and a great coach.

There's no way I'd give up both Crabbe and CJ to get Thompson. Plus, I don't see us trading CJ at all.

We have to find a way to guard Durant. Aminu, Harkless, and Turner really have to be on their A game defensively.

Other than that, Dame and CJ need to attack the paint relentlessly, rack up fouls. Don't get into a shooting contest with the splash bros unless we are absolutely on fire.

I don't know that he is overated, but he doesn't give us anything that CJ doesn't already, and to give up Crabbe to for him...nah man, nah
