Who do you think is the most responsible for the Warriors' success in the past couple of years?

Doesn't it feel like Layman would be perfect for the Spurs?

or that he'd be a player that if he played AGAINST Portland, would average like 25+?

Really bad trend I'm seeing with the rebounding.

I'm noticing a lot of times we don't have a single player in the paint crashing the offensive boards. Lots of standing around watching the ball in general.

Teams have had success so far against Golden State if they drive to the hoop. They have no shot blocker. But what do we do? Play right into their hands and shoot 39 three-pointers (9 of which were Aminu/Harkless who combined made the same amount I did tonight) and only something around 27-28 shots near the basket. As good as Dame has been getting to the rim, he only had 4 shots inside.

We kept dribbling the ball off our own legs all night...

We just simply missed good open shots tonight. I'm not to worried yet.

I'm hesitant to want to dump Aminu. Even on nights when his shot is horribly off, he contributes in other ways.
Aminu needs to be a spot player playing 15 to 20 mpg for solid defense and rebounding. Same as Meyers, Moe, Ed, Plums, etc. Our problem is we have too many of these non scoring role players. AC needs to step up.

Well, time to blow this team up. It's obviously going nowhere.

I don't disagree with you much there.

I'm not going to lie he does I agree but I think the problem is Harkless can't shoot for shit either so it makes Aminu look worse. One of those position needs to consistently hit for the thing to work

Ouch. still early

Agreed it's early, but I noticed that too. I hope it's just him finding his role, but so far, it seems like he's been a bad signing. And with that albatross of a contract, it's not like they can trade him easily.

There is no spacing with Aminu shooting less than 20% from 3. and Harkless is just as much of a non threat. Man i still wish we had Nic.
Not for 25 million, or whatever he got.

Might need just an easy change in the lineups. Maybe playing Shabazz as the backup PG and minimizing time that he and CJ are there without a PG

Batum makes what ET and Aminu make, or Crabbe and Aminu, or whatever other combination. Batum is not worth that money.

Still a better fit here. longer defender, much better shooter. He'd finally be in that role we originally saw of him as a 3rd banana.
He was 2nd or 3rd banana last year and shot 42% and 34.8% from 3. He's streaky as fuck and mentally weak. There was also never something stopping him from being the 3rd banana here. We desperately wanted and needed him to be, and he pretty much never showed up.

Crabbe makes me cringe.

He's the epitome of an 'OK' player. He's shown that he can go off for 20+ but those are few and far between. His defense doesn't hurt the team, but doesn't really stand out on this end either.

In any other era he's at best an MLE player. I've been saying that since Brooklyn trolled Neil with that offer sheet.

This TV money increase is fucking up my universe.

Crabbe, is at the very least, a great shooter. He needs to be shooting a lot more.

I liked the first half of the first quarter.

I'd say we have some work to do defensively.

Thank you,
Captain Obvious
