Problem was all three rangers were in a straight line, allowing the Pitt dman to be able to just stand in one lane to block a pass to two guys. Someone should have skated hard to the net or slowed to skate behind Nash for a drop pass threat at least.

What difference does it make? He had a point blank chance and flubbed it. Goal scorers score there.

Fleury didn't have to worry about a pass at all. Even if Nash gets shot on, Fleury is playing him straight up because there's no threat of a pass. Nash screwed the pooch so it all goes for naught, but I'm just saying that's an issue as well.
 
I'd like to break a vase over Nash's head.

I'm not disagree with you. I've already said that Nash should be traded/bought out. I'm simply saying from a coach standpoint that they need to make sure that on odd man rushes that they make Fleury have to honor the pass.

Nash should get the Richards treatment from last playoffs. Scratch him next game. Buy him out after season. Keep Richards as he and St. Louis look good together at least.
