31 I'm usually with you in terms of the remaining optimistic...but I said before game 4 will decide the series and we didn't just lose the game we didn't even show up. What we finish with, 13 shots? You kidding?

It's done man, their body language shows it. Just defeated.

You would complain about the coach no matter what he did. If he changed the lines you'd be complaining he's doing it too much and not giving them a chance to gel and create chemistry/offense. If he doesn't change the lines, then you'll complain he's not changing them.
 
Theyll win in Pitt and then come home to lose probably.

They look like crap (this was actually their worst game of the series, which is pathetic), but it's a best of 7, not best of 5, so as bad as the hill to climb looks, we're not up against a great team. It probably won't get done and we will lose the series but it is not impossible to do it.
 
I think AV did a great job. Put this team in a great position to succeed. All line combos made sense. System seemed to work for a large part of the year. Players just didn't show up this series.
 
I hope Nash breaks his ankle in the shower.

It was obvious tonight that the lines needed a change. I even addressed the torts way of always changing the lines saying how i hated that but these lines needed a change as they weren't working. You make me laugh. Comparing this team to the Kings shows that you haven't watched a Kings game ever. You can't even mention that team with this one in the same sentence, unless that sentence is that this ranger team doesn't have the heart nor coaching to do what the Kings did.

It can be done, but the way they lost this game doesnt give me much confidence.
 
Just go with Talbot the next game. It is the only chance they can at least come back. There is nothing to lose. Pussy AV, do it.

The Rangers will go out quietly in 5 games. These guys already are gripping the stick a bit to hard, what do you think is going to happen in game 5? Both Crosby and Malkin are pretty much due for a big game as well.

He's done a decent job but he is terrible at adjustments. I dont know how you can argue that.

Hank isn't the issue. The d in front of him is and our "star" players playing scared and shitting themselves is.
 
You guys are missing the point. I am not saying Hank is THE issue. Putting Talbot in will rally the team. Look back at this season. Every time they started looking like crap, they would put in Talbot and bounce back.
 
I won't even be wasting my Friday night with this bullshit. Completely no showed two straight games at home.

I feel chucks pain. 52 years as a fan and counting for me. Starting to think 1994 is the only cup I'll ever see. As Al would say soon to be a 60 year old. LOL

He's a flop. Especially in big games. Clearly cannot handle the big stage. 1 goal in 23 Rangers playoff games and 2 goals in 27 career playoff games.
 
This is why I used to always roll my eyes and laugh when Dump would go on and on about the Devils. After a heart breaking ECF loss to the Rangers in 1994 that franchise went to five cup finals and won three of them. How any Ranger fan could question that franchise is laughable.

That's exactly what losers do. They get shutout at home and follow it up with a complete no show performance at home. They should be embarrassed and ashamed. After the Pens put them out of their misery it will be time to get rid of some of this garbage.
