No rest for the weary Blazers, as this will be the second night of a back-to-back, facing a rising Dallas team, who has won 7 of their last 10 games.

Dallas now sits at the 8th spot in the West, after spending a majority of the season in lottery position. Undoubtedly, this will be a challenge, but I think Portland is ready!

Question: If you finish 7th or 8th and lose the play-in tourney, do you get to be in the lottery?

Yeah I heard it said on TV but now I can't find an article backing it up but my understanding is whoever is on the outside looking in is in the lottery but obviously the team with the best record that isn't in the playoffs has the worst odds and ends up with the 14th pick if they don't get lucky.

Nassir Little is 0 for his last 18 threes. Not a great shooter looks like the scouting report was right on him coming out of college. But he’s been doing everything else well

This team is kind of scary for us. You can't leave anyone in the starting lineup open from three. So that could be a problem. If we can remain active and disruptive on defense that should help. We should find some success with Stoffense. The pick and roll could be effective. Our bench should have a more potent offense than theirs. CJ should get better every game which will help. So I think we have a decent shot at winning this one. It's not a gimmee by any means but what game is for our team.

Dame has to get hot which he usually does and we have to be active on both sides of the ball which can sometimes be a problem for us. Let's get this win so we'll at least go three and five during this home stand. Go Blazers!

Let's hope they get back to passing the ball a bit more. Gotta have productivity from cj and trent. Dame has to be exhausted carrying the team yet again last night.

Considering the Blazers have been without Nurk, and CJ for quite a few games this season, I'm quite pleased with where the Blazers are sitting after 40 games.

At this point last year, the Blazers were 16-24, 8 games below 500.

As we get some of our injured players back on the court, I think this team is going to start to gel at just the right time.

tonight's game is a different level of test. Dallas has come back from being 5 games under .500. They have a 12-4 record over the last 16 games, and they have played the toughest schedule in the league compared to Portland's 27th hardest schedule

Portland looks to have a little mojo working, a lot of it Dame. Blazers have won 3 of 4 since the break but those 4 games came against 2 teams with a combined 27-55 record

from tonight thru the end of the season, the Blazer path of resistance gets a lot harder:

I’m gonna do the same..actually kinda shocked we’re getting 3.5 points..no respect from Vegas
Oh that disrespect is coming from the gamblers not the book keepers because we were at 3 points when it opened up. Damn that's crazy because I don't think the news about Cauley-Stein, Finney-Smith and Terry being out was available when that initial 3 point spread was set.

I didn’t see that it opened at 3..crazy. I would think bettors would be hammering the Blazers with that opening line and pushing it the other way

Just checked it again and it's back down to 3. I bet it's down to 2.5 by game time due to the guy that the Mavs have out.

what has happened to Dwight Powell? He was on a track of getting better every year then he just fell off a cliff this year. Injuries?

My dear Blazers, this is back to back night where i am watching Blazers at 3 am my local time in Bosnia, and i am working at 7 am...

No complaints, i just kindly ask you to win it, its not easy to stay awake and waiting for the win...

Thank you for both wins vs Pelicans, and please continue now...I will akways watch you...no matter if you lose or win but its better to go to work with Dame time feeling...

Go Blazers!

This guy gets my vote for fan of the year.

I'm with ya on the Dame time feeling!

Go Blazers!

Contemplating putting $100 down on the Blazers money line tonight. After that defense we saw last night it makes me more confident in this team.

I took the Mavs, but your confidence has me worried!
