Hood made two 3s but they were huge momentum shifters. Christ, if Trent can find his shot again, the offense is stacked.

it's really crazy how much attention teams pay to Dame. CJ was able to walk into 3 open three's tonight because the Mavs were all over Dame. Trent and RoCo had open three's because 2 Mavs were shadowing Dame. Melo had one too

I guess all that chatter about Lillard being the most "feared" player in the NBA is true. He's certainly feared by other coaches

RoCo is living up to the expectations and has been amazing the last month or so. DJJ has been great as well. His jumper is looking good too.

Might be the best, most-complete game the Blazers have played all season. I'm probably forgetting one. It's got to be right up there, though. Just in terms of consistent play, ball movement, contributions from throughout the lineup, and, especially smart play and clutch play toward the end.

I thought we played outstanding defensively tonight. Yeah, people can point to the Mavs scoring 119 and their 3-point shooting percentage, but, you know what, fundamentally, we were very good, very active, our switched were good, we made Doncic work for shots, we forced 12 turnovers. There weren't a lot of absurd uncontested shots that I can recall Dallas getting. They made tough shots, and they are capable of that.

On a given night, the way the Mavs plays tonight would have beaten a lot of good NBA teams. They barely led in this game and we won by two possessions.

Really happy with what I saw. Makes me very excited to see what happens when Nurk comes back and we have a guy who can erase shots near the rim and someone backup center is trying to handle Enes. Very promising. Let's keep this up.

You know I am a big CJ fan, but I did not think he was ready yet. Last night he had no lift whatsoever. To put up 32 in his 3rd game back really surprised me.

Jones Jr.....fuck the stats, I love this guy. I no longer want to use him in a trade unless it is for a star. He is defending every position, including the 7'3" Porzingis. Not saying he is an elite defender, just that he is our best. Between him, Roco, Little, and Gary we have some wing defenders to surround Dame and CJ. They need to be careful with any trade.

Now we need Nurk to come back and GT to catch fire again.
