Well the good news is it was a good game, could they have won it? Maybe. I bet in this type of game both teams feel like they could've done things better.
Denver's 1st in the west right now at home, and yeah they've had a lot of games recently but they're a very good team. You're going to lose some games, it's not a bad loss. Guess you just move on to the next one.

I don't really get why Layman didn't get more 4th quarter minutes, or why Nurkic was out there at the end of the game, and there are of course things I thought they could have done better.

Yep he tried to take over and took outside shots when he shouldn't have and rushed/forced the ones in the lane. He played a stupid 4th quarter.
And his defense was really poor. He forced ET to switch onto Jokic because he couldn't fight through a pick. Led to an easy Jokic bucket. Nurk got in his own head.

What about when we win? Like the 6 out of 7 we just won?

A lot of home games against mostly scrubs. This was a game that they really had an opportunity to win. Nuggets had played a TON of games and were on tired legs. Then Jake was smoking hot. Nuggets only had 2 players over 13 points.

Missed opportunity and Stotts is a big part of that.

. If we had lost any of those games, people would’ve trashed Stotts. Instead, they had to wait for the next loss to trash Stotts.

How do you think you'll grade Stotts.
I have no idea. He's been much better lately in terms of getting the team to move the ball and guarding opposing guards. But then a game like this happens and he makes mistake after mistake after mistake, and it makes you wonder how much of that improvement is due to competition? It also drives home my point of him being a poor coach under pressure, and situationally.

I listed multiple mistakes that Stotts made and you never have ANY argument for any of it! Instead you argue the generic "If we lost, people would've blamed Stotts, instead they wait for a loss to trash him!"...

That's absolutely false. If he didn't make numerous mistakes this game, I wouldn't be complaining about him. But he did make multiple mistakes, mistakes that you have NO explanation for.

Can’t take anyone seriously who calls Stotts “a moron.”

We’ve won our last 3 overtime games, two on the road, one against champs, so no, he’s not a poor coach under pressure.
I'm not trying to bash Stotts ( in this post), but Dame making an incredible shot after what probably should've been a turnover (the pass to aminu was not good). Then Durant making a shot he normally makes, isn't really a win because of coaching... Now there were probably things in that game that were good coaching moves wont deny that.

Not to mention that Golden State played the worse game of their season and it wasn't due to us at all... And Durant got off a shot he makes 90% of the time to win and missed it.

But these guys will ride with Stotts no matter what, and will try to find anything to argue.

This teams deserves better than that. And the worse thing is, Blazer fans outside this board will be claiming how lucky we are to have "such a wonderful coach like Terry Stotts."

Or that "Stotts is producing with the talent given by Olshey." It's nonsense. We have more talent than most teams.

Not sure what to complain about on that game. Blazers went in and played tough the whole game. They were in a position to win or at least tie at the end. This was on the road against the best team in the west. This wasn't the 8th seed eastern conference team. This was a very good Denver team. Jokic played a great game.
Blazers need to come back and play a good game in Sacramento. Nothing to hang your head about with that game.

As if we can take you seriously? You aren't discussing the nuances of basketball that we were during this game, and you try to argue it in a generic sense...
