Uhhh....Sorry to let you know this but throughout the entire Stotts head coaching era he had repeatedly had terrible defense. He just doesn’t care about that end. He’s a “we tried our best but they made shots” guy”. There’s a reason why Paul Allen wanted to fired that guy but Neil had to protect his precious boy
