Millsap (injured for the past 2 months) will be back soon. Will Denver make the playoffs this year?

That official was certain the ball was off Plumlee, they weren't going to review it, and then Stotts calls a f-ing timeout. Hilarious.

Fouling Will was the right thing at the end...he'd been shooting blanks all game...he was clutch at the end from the line

This is the same team we've seen all year. If Dame and CJ aren't both having a good game offensively it's an L. Sprinkle in a single guy killing them with the total refusal to double and baby you've got a stew goin'.

That sounds like a good strategy actually. Let one guy go off and completely shut down everyone else. Our defense wasn't the problem.

If you allow the best player to score as much possible but lose the game without doubling.... who cares? You still lost. It's like loading the box in football and then getting killed on passing. You didn't give up 100 yards rushing but gave on 300 yards passing and three TDs on bombs. :dunno:

Another point I have seen is that timeout by terry stotts. Gave refs time to review that play and overturn the call. Should of just gave it to Dame, no timeout

During the broadcast you could see the official shaking his head as Denver argued, he was not going to review it. If Terry hadn't called timeout we would have had possession down 1 with 9 seconds left.

Give this team a consistent forward who can make an open shot and defend somewhat adequately for 25 mpg, and we win 50 games. Teams are just loading up on Dame these days. And when CJ is off, it's that much more noticeable.

CJ is supposed to make them pay if they load up on Dame...he couldn't throw the ball in a swimming pool all night

Not sure how many more games it will take for people to see that Stotts is part of the problem. It's easy to single out Neil for handing out those contracts, but is Neil running his offense through Aminu late in the 4th with the lead? Is Neil letting Jamal Murray beat him single-handily without making any sort of defensive adjustments? Does Neil not have a contingency plan when teams, inevitably, begin to double-team Dame?

I'm not saying Neil is immune to any blame, but at least on Twitter, it feels like Neil is getting nearly all of the blame. Terry's a GREAT player's coach but we've lost way too many games down the stretch this year, many of them with a multiple possession lead.

Blazers lead by 5 with less than four minutes but manage to lose. I feel like I've seen this before.

Cj and Stotts cost us this game. Aminu isn't good enough to shoulder blame. He's a role-player. When he's off, you pull him for someone else. No idea why Collins wasn't put in instead of him. Cj had a bad offensive game while being bad (and not getting any help, by design) on defense. Credit to Murray for turning into a flamethrower.

Blazers are 10-10 in games decided by 6 or less at the end of four quarters. Which is better than I thought. Aminu has hit 18 of his last 57 three point attempts, which is worse than I thought (about 32%). Blazers need and upgrade to our starting four spot. Hopefully Zach can be that guy soon!

They didn't run a single play for Aminu. DEN were playing the 2016 Clippers playoff series defense on Dame with two guys trapping him up top. (how much do you want to bet that Plums suggested this). Aminu was the release guy and unlike Plums who knows what to do with the ball, Aminu kept jacking jumpshots and driving into traffic.

Terry should have forced them to change coverage by screening for Dame with someone else, but he didn't.

Allen will make Olshey do something. Have no idea what it is but I can't imagine he's paying all this dough and not expecting better results. Thing is, I think they are right where they should be.

Tough one to take... games was on our control... shouldn't have take the last TimeOut, it was a questionable call. It happens. Next one we need to want it more. Is a must win for us!

It's clear that this team isn't going anywhere this year, so why not start Zach and see if we can speed up his development?

I expect changes are around the corner so we'll see a different set of rotations than we've been watching....I'm just glad to see Zach get time against vets night in and night out now...

This team is just good enough to be cannon fodder for the Warriors, Rockets or Spurs in the 1st round of the Playoffs. Not fun.

It was hyperbole saying plays were being ran for Aminu, I'm just emotional over that finish ... either way, as you pointed out, Aminu was the one being left open to shoot due to Stotts not adjusting.

Why not bring back Ed Davis who was FEASTING off of put-backs and dribble drives?

Or go small and bring in another shooter to replace Aminu? Nurk could slide over to Jokic and anyone could have really defended Plumlee.
