It scares me how much Nurk has been a liability so far this year, they just gave him a contract, and he looks awful. He's been benched in 3(?) 4th quarters. The wizards 4th quarter and OT where he did play he got torched. Ultimately every team loses some games, but my take away from the first couple weeks is mostly that I'm really disappointed in Nurk's lack of development.

The way we lean on Dame and CJ when we go down is bullshit. I’d rather lose games getting guys used to moving the ball than having to rely on hero ball.

I trash CJ, and he was garbage again, but it’s up to the coach to put him in check.

Yeah, I'm very concerned about this too. But until the coaching staff changes completely, he's probably not going to develop more than this.

I agree that Layman should get a bit more love in the rotation.

Layman 4-5 from the field and 2-2 from 3-pt range in the last two games in just 17 minutes. Not sure what else he is supposed to do in such limited minutes?

The dude averaging 24pts and 16reb per 36 on 58% 2pt shooting coming into this game is not a liability... Maybe defensively though.

That last 2 and a half minutes wasn't fun to watch. Not boxing out and letting them get that rebound that led to an open 3 was when the game shifted. We couldn't hit anything after that and we seemed to get flustered and let them have another 3 open looks from 3 and they sunk each and everyone of them. Yea Lillard got shoved and should have been a foul on Olynk and then the over and back that wasnt' called but we shot ourselves in the foot badly at the end.

Live by the gun (Dame), die by the knife (the rest of our roster)?

Outscored by 12 in the last 3 1/2 minutes. Not what you expect if you have a Top-2 back court in the league.

We are going to win as many games as we lose this year unless we fix our defense. Six heat players in double figures. Six. I don't feel good about our chances going forward.

Without looking at the numbers, I bet we are getting killed on offensive rebounds so far this year.

Ugly game. Almost a nice come-back destroyed by an incredible choke job. CJ continues to regress, and Nurk is (at best) stagnant. Dame should be furious.

Positive was Dame with 42 and Zach led the bench 13/4 2 blocks 8/8 free throws 2/4 from the field 1/2 from the 3. There was a lot negative and again the one thing stand out negative is our defense.

CJ made only 7/20 fg... again, he took 20 shots, 2x more than next players while shooting under 40%... and many of them were on possessions where no one else touched the ball... his ISO ball prevented any other player from getting consistent looks and building a rhythm... even when his shots are falling, this style of play is not good for the success of the franchise

Zach Collins gotta play more. He is the Future Center (Sorry Nurk), Just plays with energy on defense and spreads the floor on offense

It is very selfish basketball and not in line with what the rest of the team is doing.
