It's one half of basketball...

I swear you'd think some of you guys haven't watched basketball before with these knee jerk game thread takes.

See you guys once the buzzer sounds...
Bye.

If we get beat by 90 year old Dwayne Wade, that's very concerning.
Every shot minus the baseline drive on Nik have been shots you absolutely live with.

Sometimes it just doesn't matter...

LMAO. I promise you Stotts doesn't make adjustments in the 2nd Half. Watch.

We don't learn man... You beat physical defense with ball movement, player movement, good screens, and running in transition. For some reason, when teams play physical defense, we get worse at all of those things. We completely shut down (except for Dame).

I just want to see some team effort.
Outside of Lillard & Harkless. No one was helping do the little things.
That last possession was a perfect example of that.
Nurk dealing with Whiteside and Lillard was the only one coming back into help rebound.
If you team rebound, Wade doesn't get that shot off.

I dont get Stotts rotation. Layman plays a good couple minutes on both ends of the floor then gets benched and is that it...?
He used to do that with Vonleh all the time and I just dont get it.

Stotts is just set in his ways and consistently over his coaching time here, has benched guys when they are the hottest player on the court. He is the exact opposite of someone like Chuck Daly who would ride a hot player until they burned themselves out....and made the opponent suffer.

It's like Stotts wants to give the other team a break.

Butt ugly first half...I'd trot Jake back out..he played good in the first qtr..

Yep, if Playoffs would Start tomorrow we would probably get sweept again

Coaching. You can't tell me that 1 minute into the 2nd half playing that bad isn't on Stotts.
It's like, we had all training camp to correct bad habits... The first couple of games and that Orlando game, it showed. That WAS game and this game, we've reverted back to our old ways... Problem is, it seems like Stotts can't see the issue during the course of the game, and needs a whole off-season to understand the issues that have plagued us throughout the past few seasons.

Nurkic had 1 foul... shows how much you pay attention.

You didn't notice why Stotts pulled out Nurkic. It was both fouls and his defense. That wasn't my point, which was that for whatever reason he was pulled out, we have no substitute without Ed Davis. The reason for pulling him out doesn't matter.

When it comes to getting the point, you are no Ed Davis.

You should do a video on this. Seriously.

Maybe we should play Meyers. He's shooting 100% from the field this season.

"Fouls" He had 1 foul. He played 18 minutes, the most on the team (he's on pace for 36 min). Collins played 6 minutes and has been killing it all season... Now somehow that's the reason we shot 37%? So ridiculous.

Layman with a quick bucket. Now Stotts should be yanking him in a couple of minutes.
