Chucker McCollum is driving me bananas. Finally Tolliver is hitting his shots, he hits a few, then is forgotten. Typical Blazer MO.
 
We are actually shooting 42 percent from the 3 and there shooting 14 percent that might be our highlight for that half.

They ran a few pick and rolls with Daem and Tolliver. Got Dame switched onto Gallinari. Dame couldn't do anything with it with Whiteside clogging the lane. They need to run the pick and roll with Whiteside or he's a liability on offense.
 
Oh and Ant makes a nice play on defense, dribbles the ball full court, makes a great pass to Chucker (for a made three), then is taken out of the game. Just as usual for Stotts.

No, but a shoulder dislocation (first time) is going to be at least 3 weeks to 2 months. And the fact that they need a second opinion on the MRI doesn't bode well.
 
Are we getting out-rebounded more this year? That used to be a strength, but it doesn't feel like it so much this year so far.

He's going to be out a while. I don't see how he couldn't be.

Not so fast.

Team with the lower 3p% in first half is the single greatest statistical indicator for who ultimately wins.

Yeah, they did run it with Tolliver. It got the switch. Dame is having trouble driving the lane when Whiteside and his man are also clogging the lane. They need to run it with Tolliver at center and Whiteside out of the game.

We are not solid in that area this year. We give up to many 2 chance points especially when the 2 unit comes in.
 
If a guy like Tolliver, or anyone for that matter, is hot from 3, can we please try to get him the ball, set a screen for him, anything? The role players are always forgotten after a few made shots if they can't create off the dribble.

I know they didn’t but it’s not good if they need a 2nd opinion. He’ll be out till atleast sometime in December is my guess. Shoulder injuries are not easy..

Yup.

Hood at 3 rather than Hark and Zach isn't the defensive rebounder aminu was.

Whiteside historically also hasnt had the team level affect on rebounding % that his individual numbers might suggest.

Not the most disciplined interior defender.
 
What happened with the fight in the Philly game?

OK just heard that KAT and Embiid are both out of the game .

Seth Partnow did study on it while with the bucks. Has an article on the athletic about it.

Pick and pop with him might be pretty weapon this game with Toliver.

Whiteside hasn't done shit in this game. Just stands there instead of FIGHTING for it.

Aminu was a better rebounder than Zach, and now Zach is out; and Harkless was a better rebounder than Hood. It's all on Hassan....and he limped into the locker room...yuck
