All I will add is every post before ripping the refs was oh my god why are we in this shell. No forecheck. 30 seconds shifts are a joke. We need to actually try and get in their zone and push. Then we fail to clear many times. Nash with a dumb icing. About 3 clean faceoff losses.

All of that is what I would be unhappy with before I got on the refs, but that's just me.

This 3rd period strategy, that now clearly is AV's plan, of really short shifts is NOT working as they dominate EVERY 3rd period. Instead of pushing we go 30 and out. Not sure I agree with AV on that 3rd period style.

Just my opinion.

We all complained about our scheme, but to think that that ref, who has called 2 BOGUS calls and another SOFT call on the Rangers, yet has allowed LA to spear Hank and use him like a mop with their sticks pushing him around the ice, has NOT influenced the game is absurd. The Rangers are struggling enough without the refs helping them.

Of course not, but that is all we do in the 3rd. We clearly change our style in the 3rd and shorten our shifts way down. Not sure that is the right strategy, but I will defer to AV.

The ref has called everything tight on the Rangers but allowed LA to play loose with the rules. Consistency is all I want. If that's a trip then he's missed about half a dozen interference calls on LA.

I'm just looking for consistency tonight chuck. AVs gameplan is fucking retarded. Forcing this team to dump and CHANGE, not even dump and chase. It was only a matter of time til LA scored most likely, but if Zucc tripped that guy, then Boyle just got hooked. The trip was that bad of a call.
