I missed the game, but spent an hour reading about it. Both teams were missing a starting forward (Terrence Jones and Vonleh). Rotoworld says that no Rocket substitute scored until the 4th quarter.

The Rockets were a disaster and didn't get their first bench points until 11:18 left in the fourth.

That's true. At one point Ariza had 5, Beverly had 2, and the rest of their points were Harden/Howard.

Dame goes 7-20 and we still win by 20?

Man. HOU has some issues.

Just watched the archived game on LP. Our D was on point today, but it definitely looked like Harden took his boys out to Houston's finest club last night.

The most frustrating thing about myers is the fact that in theory he could be a really good player. He has good hands, athleticism (just not laterally), has a soft touch, can box out, has a good jumper out to 3 point range, and has good passing ability for a big. But, it is only in theory. He can't get out of his own way.

In Gestalt Theory, the parts add up to more than the whole. In Leonard Theory, the excellent parts sum to a mediocre whole.

Are they parts really excellent though? He's a one trick pony on offense, and it's comfortable shooting under pressure. And he's really more PF size than center.

He makes himself a one trick pony. He has that strange little floater /hook shot that he can hit in the paint quite reliably. But, he only uses it once every 7 games or so. We agree that he certainly isn't a great nba player though (and that is giving him credit). I do disagree about his size though. He definitely has center size. Some stats I could find for centers (I think these numbers were compiled a couple of years ago, but should still stand).

Average Height: 6’11.25″ Most Common Height: 6’11″ Shortest: 6’9″ (Bismack, Joel Anthony) Tallest: 7’2″ (Roy Hibbert Range: 5″ Average Weight:257lbs Most Common Weight Range: 250-255lbs Lightest: 232lbs (Joakim Noah) Heaviest: 290lbs (Pek)

Leonard is listed at 7'1" and 245.

His standing reach is only 9 '0 though, which is PF size.

I didn't get to watch it live but I'm watching the replay. Dame's post game interview is fantastic. So glad he's our team's leader.

Meyers should be putting up about 5-6 skyhooks per game, with his touch. No one's going to block that shit. Then pop out for a 3 every so often until he gets traded.

You are wrong. He needs to take 9 to 11 swish3 shots a game to get the blazers swish3 percentage up.

Just joking, by the way.

Probably the worst quality of all time, but it's the only evidence I could find in my 30 second search for Meyers shooting the hook. Look how easy it was for him to do.

Meyers has a nice touch around the basket. We should run more plays for him on the post as well and eventually he might learn he's the tallest guy on the court and it's ok to dunk the shit out of the ball. I swear his rookie year he had no problems attacking the rim, but got shell shocked when he got his dunk packed and hasn't tried since

What's LP?

A sideways push shot is not a hook shot. His elbow bent a lot, and his forearm didn't follow a semicircular path. In the 1970s, I remember the tallest NBA centers still shooting a lot of hook shots.

Henderson keeps impressing me. You know the stuff I said about trading him..... ummmm, yeah, we can forget about that for right now.

So you wanted to trade him when he had no value but now when he does have value you don't want to trade him??

I really like Henderson, he's a hothead hehe. I like how he's constantly in the refs ears,he calls Mayers on his shit,we lead by 20 and this guy is yelling at everybody and jumping on anything.

The Rockets looked horrible, like the most unprofessional team in Basketball, they need to blow it up fast.

Before the month started: "oh shit we need to play the Rockets 3 times this month".
Now: "We comin' for that number 6 spot!"

*And all of this without crabbe.

It's what we listened to music on before the 8 track came out....now it's making a comeback
