Blazers are Paul's baby. Allen has very little say over what the Seahawks do, Pete Carroll and John Schneider are in full control.

I know what has been said. But I think Seahawks have captured the heart of Allen. How can you not get behind the whole 12th man theme and what Schneider and Carroll is doing. It's be the best brand he has owned on his own... But not to the point where he has garaged his interests in the Blazers. I personally think he wants and is working feverishly on bringing a title to town for you and me. He is just doing a different way. He has embraced Olshey's ideas.

It's good they got one. I've started to wonder just how good this Blazer team is. It's not like they're not trying. But they're losing.
3-1 since Lopez came back and it should have been 4-0. They are just fine.

Sometimes I do wish Paul was a a little more like Mark Cuban, A little more reckless.

I
But that would mean his inclusion which you just said two posts ago you didn't want.

Where does BG stand?
I said Sometimes I wish Paul had very little say in what goes on with the Blazers too! since he is the owner I wish sometimes he would be a little more reckless like Cuban.

.... what? That's a walking contradiction. lol.

I like the man the way he is and am glad he is NOT like Mark. His hands off approach is effective

I have appreciated how he has grown in the last four years. Keep up the good work, Paul

I don't think Paul has it in him... Dude is old and frail. However, if I was the owner... I'd be ejected... A LOT.. I'd probably take my shirt off and have a bro down with Joey Crawford.

Well I don't think anyone can say Mark Cuban is a bad owner or that he does it wrong. Don't get me wrong I like Paul and I know the fans and the Blazers are very lucky to have him as an owner.

I don't care for him. His nose is in every part of the business. He is right there in the coaching huddles. I think he heavily influences every player personal decision. I don't think he should be. But he is the owner and he can do whatever he wants.

Sometimes I wish I was a little taller, but since I'm not I wish I was a little shorter like Spud Webb.

I heard that he ran up the court going "Yeah, FU S2!"

After reading this thread I sincerely hope he did. Both he and Kaman.

Kaman is obviously beat up, like other guys on the team. I can't believe how much some of you overreact every. single. game. It's like your memory is only capable of recalling up to 24 hours ago. The all-star break will do both of these guys a lot of good.

24 hour recall is being generous. More like 15 minutes.

That's contradicting because Cuban micro manages his team. So saying Allen shouldn't be so involved, then say "he should be reckless like Cuban" is an oxymoron

Nothing gives me more pleasure than when the Blazers beat the Rockets. I don't hate any player more than James Harden. At the same time, I hate how he gets away with his BS even more.
I loved how Harden didn't get the BS calls on the 3 point shots after they reviewed the last one on Mathews to verify it was a 3.

I think the refs saw that Harden was doing what he was does and decided to not "give" him any more calls unless it was blatant. After that point, I saw 2 shots where Harden flailed and was trying to get a call. He attempted it a 3rd time, but passed it off to a guy in the corner.

That was the highlight of the night. I think Leonard was sick and tired of Harden's shit and went old skool on him! That's playoff basketball right there!

I think you're on to something:

Meyers this season versus Bill Limber 1989-90. Look at the Per 100 possessions section.
Wouldn't it be awesome if Nards turned into that kind of guy? The one that the other team hates, plays kind of dirty, even like a Steven Adams kind of guy. I think he's too nice though. It would be like Barbie getting mad at Ken.

Meyers has a little mean streak in him; remember his *really* hard fouls his rookie year? I remember him taking out a guy, just laying him flat, in retaliation for something.

It's been mostly beaten out of him by Kim Hughes though, which is good, but he's got an edge.

Now, this isn't 1990. Meyers can never be allowed to be Laimbeer attitude wise. But he is already a guy opposing fans hate (see Houston's game thread). He makes you pay for doubling, he never takes a bad shot, and he hoovers up rebounds.
