Best part of tonight's game, had leftover chicken from Sat, leftover steak & shrimp from Sun. Diced then simmered together in taco seasoning.

Added beans, cheese, and sour cream to make a 3 meat super nacho.

Delicious.

I could see something in Connaughton though. I thought he'd be a decent player. Layman needs to be cut.

To be fair, I thought Layman was better than him in the Summer League. lol

You’re fake news sir

Well, they had that guy but they sent him East.

Not saying we would be significantly better with him but I am just saying.....
Yeah...Gotta love moves that don't help the product on the floor and are done purely to save money...Unless that trade exception is used that was created when he was traded...that move is just a sterling example of how bad of shape this Blazers roster is in!

what a road trip... blowout losses against TOR and DET and loss against crippled BOS team

You know what? I like your enthusiasm about this middle of the road team. It’s like you say some truthful and hurtful shit about them and cap it off with an exclamation mark and it’s exciting. It’s fresh. It’s new.

Still making excuses for why Neil can’t make a trade after 5+ years?! At some point he has to be held accountable... this guy should not have a job if he is afraid to pull the trigger.

Post game broadcasters praising Chief's defense tonight...he was on Drummond and Griffin most of the game.....doing the dirty work and getting hated on here all night....defense just doesn't get respect....Zach Collins was terrible but escapes the wrath of Chief haters
Chief was good on the boards, but that was it. Collins has been awful lately. His inability to make an open shot has killed the team.

Good. That's what I was going for!

Huh!? What excuse?!

I like defense....not that hard to understand...CJ and Collins were really bad on both sides of the ball but Chief gets the hate

I'm guessing because one is a rookie and one is an 8-year vet.

If we used that trade exception then it would at least be worth it as we just didn't send him away for nothing other than cap relief but I have this gut feeling Neil is not going to use it at all. I hope I am wrong.

And rational or not, if we don't make the playoffs, I am going to blame that on the guy who is not here as the reason we didn't get in this season on what is pretty much the same team as last season. (Not including the rookies.)

Making a trade to just make a trade is pretty stupid especially if it will possibly have horrible long term consequences. Neil has made trades, hell he made a great one last year but if your looking for a "allstar/super star" type trade how many of those have happened that we might have been able to get the last few years? Its not like Neil isn't working the phones and trying to get trades together but just making a move to make a move is idiotic.

While I for the most part agree with you we could get very close in getting that 'allstar/superstar' if Neil was just willing to listen to offers and trade CJ. Now I don't know who that player/s is but they are out there.

Sure. Like Blake Griffin, or Kevin Love. Pinnacles of health and durability.
