You sir, are a masochist if you had fun watching that.
So you're a new Blazer fan? This is nothing...you take success a quarter at a time in a rebuild and until the end...we were in this game...a masochist would take it very, very seriously....that wouldn't be me

For those who got to watch the whole game, what percentage of our turnovers were forced/unforced?

Sure seemed like we had a rash of unforced ones at the start of the second half. They for sure were applying more pressure, but we were making silly decisions and throwing the ball right to them.

It's not the same story every night. We won the game before this one.

You miss the point entirely. And your statement is debatable, but a waste of time and energy. Suffice to say the reality is between the two extremes.

which part? The part where the Blazers will do something this year Please debate away, I'd love to see that one.

Like riverman said, let's get the next one.

People like to say Bucks, Wolves, and Pelicans have brighter future because of their young talent but those teams aren't playing any better than us and we're having a bad season.

No. Consistentsy. This team needs to miss the playoffs... Already an embarrassment.

I know Smart had 5 steals

What pisses me off the most is our holes shouldn't be that hard to fix. It's not like we're looking for franchise players. Just some god damn role players that can rebound and shoot a basketball.

It helps a lot if you get thrilled when we win and not surprised when we lose...this is that sort of season...Aminu was great tonight

We're really just a scoring big away from being pretty good

Seems like the players often have difficulty being mentally switched on at either the start of games, or the start of the second half; or both.

You either didn't read my post completely or misunderstood it slightly.

We dominated the first half and really dropped it in the 3rd

This is pretty much where I'm at right now. Expecting nothing and happy with whatever wins we get. Kind of how I started last season actually.

They only outrebounded us by 2 and we outshot them. It came down to the turnover discrepancy. That turnover by Aminu after his great D killed the momentum.

That's been a battle all year. And that's why our defense sucks. Because good defense requires being mentally switched on all the time.

I'm not sure that's really a good selling point.

It's not that they're having a bad season, it's that they've regressed from last year...or worst yet, haven't shown ANY growth or improvement.

How many times have players been able to go drive to the hoop and score?

ANY resemblance to a defensive big man would help a lot. They used to funnel players into Marcus Camby, Theo Ratliff and Robin Lopez. Now they funnel guards into....pretty much an open lane since Plumlee isn't a shot blocker, Meyers is even worse at it, and Ed Davis barely seems to get into games at weird intervals.

A player like Nerlens would be a nice addition, not only for blocking shots or changing the shots of players, but rebounding.

But for whatever reason, they aren't going to make any changes.

Gave up too many offensive rebounds too. Shame to waste Aminu's best offensive game of the year.

Yeah I guess, but we still give up too many 2nd chance points....or so it seems

Rebounds killed us tonight, and the Celtics aren't even a good rebounding team. When Vonleh was in there we played better. Either commit to developing him or find a damn PF.

We lost a ton of defensive rebounds...they killed us with second chance pts just like the Thunder game...and we didn't return the favor

Those teams aren't hamstrung by awful contracts however.
