Looking at the boxxcore, it's quite incredible that Dwight scores 28 points on 13/17 shooting and grabs 13 boards, then Harden nearly gets a triple-double, scoring 34 points on 20 shot attempts, tallying 11 assists, and snatches 9 rebounds, AND YET the Blazers still prevail!

This shows that team-play can trump individual heroics when everyone buys in and plays for each other and sacrifices their own individual interests for wins. That's the epitome of synergy right there.

Gonna get real interesting second half of the season with seeds 5-8. Memphis without gasol, Utah, Mavs, Portland, Houston all fighting. We have a tough schedule for the second half. Doesn't help we start off the break at golden state where they are undefeated

The game against the Warriors is in Portland. Not sure it will make a difference though.

Houston gambled 2 years ago when they went all in on landing Bosh. Their depth took a huge hit. Plus you have Harden who is great but does not seem fun to play along side.
Keep in mind they also have a couple of injuries that has hurt their depth.

What I love SO MUCH about this team is they're NOT SOFT. Not physically or emotionally or mentally. As they get to the point of gainimg some playoff experience one thing I WILL NO LONGER HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT is my team being too soft to win a series. Awesome.

Yeah; teams take on the personality of their leader.

Utah doesn't have a star. They have some really solid players though. They need a go-to-guy.

I dunno; Hayward is playing pretty darn good. The frontline with him and Gobert plus Favors is impressive. All they need is a PG. Put a guy who's never been an all star like Mike Conley on that team they could easily be a contender in a year.

The honest truth I'd rather have the team come together and develop as much as possible. If we just miss the playoffs and we end up with what the 16th pick?! Honestly, is that a make or break scenario? Olshey knows that free agency will make this team, not the draft. You can't improve in the league and NOT sign quality free agents. The last few years have shown that.

If we lose our pick this year we effectively gain either a 2017 first round pick or two second round picks in 2018 and 2019.

Empty stats.

A big double/double for Dwight....

The worst +/- in the game.

Yeah it seems like bruising centers are just irrelevant in today's NBA. Even when they appear to be effective their teams lose. Look at Brook Lopez, Roy Hibbert, Al Jefferson.

I think we broke clutchfans

Haha my gosh you are right.

Last year, I didn't want the Rockets' season to end and couldn't wait for it to begin again.

This year, the Rockets' season is basically over and it can't come soon enough.

Just a joke of season.
Portland is 12-3 in their last 15.... One reason is they have young players who actually want to play. The rockets have a bunch of old guys who just can't move and shake anymore and it's showing in the incosistent play night in and out.

Ariza, bev, brew and even to an extent howard are going down hill fast.
Every single person in this organization sucks! Our superstars suck and are not leaders by any means. I just want a totally new team next year even if we rebuild!!
This was the breaking point for me. No longer can bring myself to give a ****
we suffered a greater loss to Portland without batum and LMA with them.
this is a joke!
I haven't been this disappointed since I gave this hot chick $500 a hour for her service and she turned out to be a tranny. A hot tranny though...and then he/ran off with my money, just like Rockets running away with my money

I kinda love how the rockets have become our bitches!

They really have. There is nothing I love more than destroying the Rockets. When all the Beverley shit went down and Dame hit that shot and started talking, they showed it up on the big screen and it just got LOUD. I hope it came through well on TV.

Did you see the crap Beverley was pulling as the clock ran out? What a tool.

These announcers are basically getting a hard on for the Blazers. Just listen to their tone when we score and then listen to them jump out of their seats when the Blazers score.

Yeah......been there.

A simpler theory is that they have only 2 good players.

Yes I did. What an asshole. And not the kind of asshole that would be great if he did that while he was on our team kind of asshole.

A new classification of the human species. The kind of asshole who would be great on one's team, vs. the kind who wouldn't.

The field of Biology will be interested.

One of their "good players" was a -24 when he was on the court and the team was a +11 with him off of it.
