I watched again. The defender was straight up. He was moving forward a little though. Unfortunately that's generally a no call if the defenders hands are straight up like they were. I see what you're saying now though.

Then why doesn't Zach get the two calls earlier in the game?! That established a pattern and they completely fucked it!

Refs were bad but coaching was worse. We became stagnant on offense again.

There's no reason in hell Nurk should have only ended up with 11 shots when he made 9 of them. We needed to milk that match-up and we didn't. That's low IQ basketball. Same with Layman and Hood. They will need more shots to be effective.

They scored 33 and 35 in the 2nd and 3rd quarters. The only quarter we need to bitch about is the 4th...... and Nurk barely play.

Due to we can't win on the road very often and more probably we loss these next 2. We could be in trouble this 2nd part of this season. Hell we might take a big floor and miss the playoffs.

I almost don't want us to. The only way something is going to get done is if we miss the playoffs. Then Jodi will HAVE to make big choices; whether it's firing Stotts, Olshey, or making roster moves that make us better.

God I miss healthy Paul Allen right now. God rest his soul.....we really need him right now.

It really wasn't that many misses. Layman and Hood both missed good looks at '3' but other than that, it was a lot of turnovers, missed FT's and Dame/CJ going 1-6 with 3 turnovers in the 4th.

Blazers shot 49% with Dame/CJ going 16-40...which included Dame's 7-9 6 minute stretch in the 3rd. Outside of that stretch, they were both not very good at all.

I don't blame the coach I actually blame our guards for not seeing that Nurk had one to guard him. They need quit worrying about there scoring stat and start playing team basketball. When Dame went in that scoring in the 3rd most of them was off assist.

When CJ has one of his cold nights just sit his ass and lean on Hood. It’s like Stotts hasn’t evolved since years ago when we actually NEEDED CJ. We already know CJ is our worst defender, so if he’s not scoring there’s no reason for him to be out there. Stop treating him like he’s a superstar and above a benching.

I agree with you 100 percent. It will take us missing the playoffs before something happens.

Yeah, it's the most important quarter, no? The first quarter didn't look great either. As long as Stotts is the coach, this team will never be able to play to its full potential.

Do the Mavs have the talent the Blazers do? No way in Hell. This isn't a GM issue. This is a coaching issue.
