Of the current reserve players, whose minutes would you greatly reduce to get playing time for Hood?

It’s the same problem it’s always been. Stotts only trusts two players offensively. We’re gonna get smoked in the playoffs again because of it.

It's unfortunate. I see Olshey getting shit because he didn't do some masterful trade but until we have a better coach, this team will never realize its potential. I actually like Layman and Hood playing together a lot but they weren't being utilized tonight. Same with Nurk.

Coaching just blows. We clearly have so much more talent than the Mavs and most teams.

Looking for a foul at the end of regulation rarely works out unless you're Lebron.

Pull up and take the 10 foot shot.

Agony of defeat!
Its going to take a bit to get the rotation down.

The Dallas Euro (Doncic?) is just a ball hogging iso player w/a decent shot. He just wants to dominate the ball most of the time, but he is impressive for only 19, of course he played a lot of Pro ball over the years and is already seasoned.

From the last Hood made jumper with 10:43 to go.

Layman driving lay-in (missed)
Turner (turnover)
McCollum (turnover)
Turner (turnover)
Leonard FT's (missed both)
McCollum (missed '3')
Hood (missed '3')
Hood (missed '3')
Layman (turnover)
Curry jumper (missed)
McCollum (turnover)
Harkless FT's (made 1 of 2)
Layman '3' (missed)
Lillard '3' (missed"
Lillard FT's (made both)
Lillard (turnover)
Lillard layin (missed)
McCollum floater (missed)
McCollum jumper (made)
Lillard layup (missed)

It really wasn't that many misses. Layman and Hood both missed good looks at '3' but other than that, it was a lot of turnovers, missed FT's and Dame/CJ going 1-6 with 3 turnovers in the 4th.

Blazers shot 49% with Dame/CJ going 16-40...which included Dame's 7-9 6 minute stretch in the 3rd. Outside of that stretch, they were both not very good at all.

I don't see where you answered the question. Who did you want in there that wasn't? Terry has lost games in the past, but the players lost this one.

He needs to stop backing this coach who has been mediocre at best when looking at his body of work. Did we not have enough talent tonight? Is that the narrative? Stotts apologists make me laugh.

Yeah, let's trust your judgement over Lillards. Typical bandwagon fan. Jump on, jump off.

The teams my break from life. It's my escape. Im sure many people feel that way... Except every now and then it just compounds everything. Sucks.

You need to take a break honestly. And I'm saying this with all seriousness. The Blazers need to be something taken in short bursts not full on all the time. Get into the Timbers. The season is weekend action and the front office is much more competant. Also Goo Savaress coaches on a bad day better than Terry Stotts does on his best. It's a good diversion from the Blazers.

Break coming up in 3 days.

When CJ has one of his cold nights just sit his ass and lean on Hood. It’s like Stotts hasn’t evolved since years ago when we actually NEEDED CJ. We already know CJ is our worst defender, so if he’s not scoring there’s no reason for him to be out there. Stop treating him like he’s a superstar and above a benching.

Not to mention, he has developed a severe allergy to passing.

A FUCKING TIMEOUT

This is always an interesting argument. I think there is a difference between judgement and loyalty. Dame loves Stotts because he has carte blanche on the floor, so he will back him.

This is not and endorsement to or not to fire Stotts

give me a break...the Clippers went into Bgarden last night and beat the already coronated Celts. Should t5hey fire Stevens
On any given night!
Bucks lost at Home to a below 500 team last night....on any given night! Should they fire there coach?

When you only score 9 points in that last QT it hard to blame the coach. But yes maybe he should call timeout but everyone knew who was going to take the last shot. But 19 turnovers and 5 comes in hand of your point guard and those 19 turnovers resulted in 33 points. We had 16 assist at half we only 24 in the game that only 8 assist in the 2nd half and that why you had two different half's.

They were missing their best players...

It’s a testament to our greatness that this was the only time this season that we blew a lead going into the fourth.

This team has done this before losing the first game on the road, and have bounced back ok. Tough loss for sure!
