Now that Robinson and Barton are gone, who is the most athletic Blazer?

Exactly. If we struggle WITH Aldridge, how are we supposed to beat them without him?

Uhhh... how about hitting more than 3 shots in the 4th? I don't know. Common sense. I understand you wanting to try to lessen the blow by irrationality, but the reality is we had this game. There's NO excuse for giving up a 13 point lead in the 4th to ANY team.

Well the ship isnt sinking but wev got a leak and its coming in fast. We will stay in the playoffs no matter what but we gotta plug the leak or we will lose the division

Or that they squandered a double digit lead in the 4th quarter because they couldn't get any stops and fell in love with the outside shot.
Memphis is a beast on defense..best in the world actually..they made everything tough when it counted. They won this game with defense and wore us down at the end. Get the next one! Go Blazers!

It never it for you. You guys really think this is a championship team? Someone remind me of our record against western conference playoff teams?
As they are playing now, they aren't even good enough to be a playoff team in the West.

This all falls on Stotts. Our players are GOOD why aren't they preforming? Why are we playing iso ball? Why can't we set a god damn screen for fucks sake? Olshey needs to think long and hard these next few months about wtf we're going to do.

When Beibs went down to the baseline and Wes was calling for him... he just camped his ass there. Fucking ruined it. Biggest mistake he made all game, and it was huge.

Aldridge and Freeland were out. Look at Thunder. Durant and Westbrook missed games. That's why their only 8th in the West. If you don't have your best player, you can expect to beat the third best team in the NBA.

Think the debate is over about Portlands best player, LMA.

Batum should be getting roughly those numbers that he did tonight, EVERY NIGHT.

If the Blazers lose this division lead to the Thunder, they may as well turn their testicles in.....

We fucking traded for a player that can create his own shot, and instead of utilizing him, we gave ISO's to Kaman and Blake...

So frustrating, especially considering we finally got them into the penalty in the fourth.

During the game, it changed. Stop trying to come off all "oh, excuses this, excuses that." That game was ours. And you know it. I know you know it. Everyone knew it. Now, if we lost wire to wire, that'd be a different story. but TWICE we had double digit leads, and lost. That's not because of lack of personnel, that's because we suck at closing games out. With or without LA.

We have a 6 game lead. We're fine as long as Aldridge is okay and comes back next game.

it isn't even a debate for me. I would gladly trade having Aldridge playing if it meant Dame was out. Aldridge is our MVP, rightfully so. If he leaves us next year will be a fringe playoff team which is the worst type of team.

Its not that we lost. Its how we lost. We gave them a fucking game that we should have won. Too many of those this season.

That game was never ours. I said that when we were up, we were going to lose. Can't be expected to close out the Grizzlies without your best player.

Lillard should be our best player... It's just he can't get separation for shit right now. I feel for him, it's him having to create with a bunch of campers and guys who can't even give him a decent screen to get space for a jumper.

17% shooting in the 4th quarter? Really? This team has way way to many good offensive players for that to happen.

The optimist/pessimist argumentative statements after a loss are almost worth said loss!

So you weren't jinxing. You were hoping for us to lose. EXPECTING us to lose. And you got on MY shit last year for doing that once? SERIOUSLY Eric?

It also pisses me off that our bench had a great game for us and were the reasons we got nice leads only for our starters to take a shit everytime they were in. Teams, especially ours who has a history of a useless bench, need to take advantage of that.

70% in the 3rd, 17% in the 4th

ugh

That memphis D though.

I want to know what ending was worse... the GS one where we turned it over 3 straight times, or this one where we airballed it on absolutely horrid possessions 3 times in a row?
