Getting away from pick and roll with Westbrook and McGarry cost then the game. That killed us in the 3rd, and could have buried us in the 4th.

Another example of Stotts out-coaching Brooks, Stotts sent Dame in the lane to attack McGary on a few straight possessions. This made him appear to be a liability to the OKC defense, and shit-for-brains Brooks took the bait and pulled McGary, unbelievable.

Dude was killing the Blazers.

Can't watch, but he's been stuck on some pretty shitty teams. I think this might be the first decent team he's even been on.
Played on a couple Nuggets' teams that got knocked out first round, but not as talented as this team.

Amen to that. The flickers of life Kaveman showed at the beginning of the season are almost gone.
Or maybe he plays better in limited minutes like he did at the beginning of the season. 8 points and 7 rebounds in 14 minutes tonight is perfect. (No more than 18 minutes)

Couldn't have said it better myself.

I didn't realise those Thuggets teams made the playoffs.

He was on the Pistons with Chauncey, Rip, Tay, Big Ben and Sheed...that was a pretty good team

Roberson gave Westbrook a pretty noticeable dent at the end there:

I don't understand people trying to defend Brooks (not saying anyone here is).
He's a fine coach but with the talent OKC has, they need better.
That's his problem.

When was the last time the Blazers has a team this talented AND tough. This team is a little bit different put together than past teams.

I didn't realise he was in the league that early.

The first I remember of him, is being in Denver (the first time).

He's been around for quite a while.

Yeah, but he was a rookie who didn't contribute much, if at all. But no better team to be on as a rookie to learn from those players.

And Westbroook was asking for the ball to be inbounded to him to toss up a prayer.
His teammate was like, I don't think so.
I think he suffered a mild concussion.

But some nights he plays defense like he has concrete in his shoes. Some nights he looks like an all-star on the offensive end, but most night's he's just frusterating.

It does look like a dent, but is it really a bump? A dent implies that he broke his cheek bone.

Thank heaven that didn't happen with Harden.....he would have flopped all the way to the parking lot, the refs would have called a foul on the Blazers, and Adam Silver would have personally called and awarded him 9 FTs.

LaMonster's stat line
(aka Blazer's MVP. aka best PF in the game.)
38 minutes 45 seconds.
29 points on 10-23 FG, 0-2 from three, 9/10 from the line.
+/- stat, +12.
16 total rebounds 7 offensive
5 assists,
1 turnover.
1 block, 1 steal.

Kaman has three redeeming qualities. 1. His Waltonish beard. 2. He wanted to play here. 3. He plays for cheap.

I thinks it is safe to say he is not a quick leaper.

We signed him for the MLE though, which really isn't "cheap". He'll be cut after this season.

I can't even begin to express my happiness with Afflalo and what he brings to this team and our bench. He is going to give at least 10 points, ON A BAD NIGHT. And tonight he was AAAmazing!

ESPN still can't stop talking about ChuckBrick. "Blazers win, but look at this (individual stats)" (don't mention the team record).

I may get burned at the stake for saying this - but I would take Westbrook over Harden. I find Harden far more obnoxious. :dunno:
