Walton must be the greatest babbler to ever ramble on live Tv, the guy is funny like 10% of the time but it becomes unbearable after a few minutes.

It's like he totally fried his brain using hard drugs for DECADES, was he like this in the 70's too??

Dave Pasch: Bill, Your son Luke was ejected tonight.
Walton: FROM WHAT?!?!?!

We're there people on drugs in the seventies? Does a duck quack?

Thank god. I can still hear him talking inside my brain.
I used to mow the lawns at the apartments my dad owned in NW many years ago. Bill used to ride his bike everywhere but he was just learning the city. He would stop and talk to us every now and again. Such a good guy but he did have a stutter. People thought he was stupid but not the case at all.

That was probably the only funny moment of the broadcast. Or whenever Pasch checked him.

I like the guy... but like you say it gets old real fast. The occasional NBA game would not be bad, but since I watch a lot of Pac 12 basketball, I have to mute him every few minutes.

He also pisses me off when he insists that the stars deserve more calls in their favor because they have earned it. Fuck that.

I met Bill years ago at the Tournament of the Americas before the Dream Team played. Very nice guy.

If Draymond becomes available, what would you give up for him?

I think he's wearing on the team's morale a bit with his intensity. It's great for a team that is on the way up to contention-- but the guys probably tire of him after 3 (probably 4) consecutive years of getting to the finals. If they lose in the finals or flame out in the west, I seriously think they'll look to move him.

Well they don't need Dame or Cj so I am good with giving them anyone else that makes 18 million. Hark and Meyers would be nice plus a first. Meyers might actually work in their system.

Or Turner to replace Iggy who is slowing down and maybe Collins?

Also said he failed as a father because Luke got ejected. Dude is pure comedy

Yea, he just needs a smart guy next to him who will throw him the right alley hoops into his madness and then cut him off and move to the next thing before he rambles for 30 minutes on autopilot mode.

He was pretty much talking shit about the blazers all night, while riding the warriors dick.

Of course MM liked it.
He is funny. Get past the bias.

Don't forget the juice cups for the next game

I'm with MM. He was funny and entertaining throughout (sure, with a dash of crazy). He handed out plenty of compliments for Dame and CJ. He mixed in a ton of Oregon/Portland connections and history. He had no problem criticizing the Warriors effort, and he gushed about them because they're the best team in the NBA. Seems reasonable to me! The ESPN audience is tuning in to see Durant and Steph and Dame, and that's who he talked about the most.

Walton is entertaining. It is too long a game for him unfortunately, he repeated himself too much, unfortunately. I think the perfect Walton mix is a quarter where he can just go non-stop and blather about whatever fires in his brain. After that, it just gets repetitive.

he literally said the Blazers shouldn't get as much respect from the refs as the Warriors.

He jaw must me killing him for sucking all those Warriors cocks.
My friend from Kansas City, is staying at my house right now; he doesn’t like the blazers at all, and even he was like:

“Who is this guy, and why is he talking so much shit about the blazers?!”

He wasn’t even really watching the game, he just kept hearing Bill Walton’s dumb ass, talk shit every time he was within earshot of the TV.

Then he sat down for the 4th quarter and laughed his ass off everytime Bill, said some negative shit about Portland.

Then he even said:

“I have never heard a play by play guy, talk so much shit about a team during a game”

I haven’t either.

For me, Draymond is a close second after PG as my dream additions for this roster.Just hoping for an implosion in GS.

rawpunch.gif So, you like Walton's opinion, huh? (I think I recognize what the woman just said)

Feel delighted with this win. This was really needed.

I still cannot forget the game vs Celtics. Still hurts me.

Even clutchfans had an entire thread about this. That's how obvious it was.
