It might be the high from winning tonight, but I feel a 3 seed is a possibility. So much can happen from 3rd to 10th place in the west. It is making the 2nd half of the season very exciting and entertaining.

Leonard being out, plus having the toughest remaining schedule, is going to make it tough for the Spurs to keep from slipping. If Butler is seriously hurt, The TWolves are in tough shape.

Our next two games are against Phoenix and Sacramento. Then we play hobbled Minnesota team at home on national TV. We could get up to 3rd sooner than later.
Just maintain focus. You can't count on gimme wins. You do that , and you lose. With Dame at the helm, I don't see that happening.

You know what teams have a tough schedule? The teams that are playing against US.

What if they face Phoenix, Sacremento, and Orlando right before us? That'd be 3 easy ones and 1 difficult one.

Just sayin, myopic doesn't work for everything.

They're still talented, but that would be a major blow to their chances.

Wolves are garbage without Butler. No leader.

Find me a team that plays Phoenix, Sac, and Orlando before playing us.

Just sayin.

By the way, I don't like you and would block you if I could.

next up:

Spurs play Cleveland
OKC plays Warriors
Nuggets play Rockets

We be climbing up the standings with our easy schedule.
Should be, but hopefully the Blazers don't think that way. I see Dame not allowing over confidence. He respects the opponents.

That wasn't the point, but okay. My point was we aren't the reason they have a hard schedule, but maybe a PART of it.

Sorry you don't like me. I like you. But thats on you. I still root for you in life and hope the best for you. <3

Yes Dame does. I believe in our team. Back in the jail blazers days, Rasheed was talented as hell but that team had no leadership. Pippen kinda but he wasn't like Dame.

It's all about focus. One game at a time. Phoenix lost at home tonight, and now we face them tomorrow. Never easy beating a team, no matter who they are, at their home after they lost. Must continue to get the ball into Nurk. And perimeter defense, with the great Booker, is always the highest priority.

You don't even know me. Is there any way I can put you on ignore?

So I can't root for you in life because I don't know you?

But you don't know me and you have every right to not like me? Do you see the hypocrisy in that or is it just me?
exactly why I don't like you

They're not garbage, but they are less talented for sure. KAT is pretty awesome.
Devin Booker is pretty awesome too but the Suns suck. Same with Wolves with Jimmy Butler. Total garbage. Nowhere near a playoff team as we saw first hand last season.

Well, we can't start threads about our defense getting worse.
With an admirable defensive effort starting in the second quarter, we held on with a 9 point lead with three minutes left.

No more trade CJ threads please.
I liked his leadership to string three FG's all within the charity strip and propel us to a 19 point win.
This was so important as a 7th seed tie was on the table and we ended their 11 game win streak.

Nice win tonight, and really, a pretty nice month or so of basketball from Portland. From my point of view, it seems the team has found an identity of late where guys seem to know and accept their roles now. Chemistry is starting to finally surface. If I were to guess, I would attribute it to Stotts settling on a shortened rotation, and making Davis and Collins a permanent part of it. There are better comparisons, but it does briefly remind me of the Drexler era rotation, where the backcourt provides the bulk of the offensive production and the front court are the synergy guys. I think we might be playing our best basketball since Aldridge left as a result, and it's not because of some insane hot shooting streak.
