That is a statement road win against a team that has been on a huge role. Wish that effort had been around more earlier in the season and this team would be a solid #3 seed.

Like @Drttimmy said they seemed to have only recently crystalized their method. What I saw earlier this year was a confused team. It can be quite draining to put your effort in unfruitfully and not know where you're going wrong.

There was a lot of stotts trying to figure out every player not named Damian and CJ.

I just watched the replay of the game, this time with the Jazz broadcast team. Can't believe how well the Blazers rotated on D last night. They actually looked like they had a good game plan. Maybe the extra days to prepare helped with that.

One interesting comment from Matt Harpring regarding the playoff seeding. He thinks it would be fun if the teams chose their opponent. So you start with 16 teams (8 east 8 west) and the #1 seed in the whole league chooses who they play first, regardless of conference....and then the 2nd seed chooses next, and so on and so on.

Hopefully the people who set the national TV schedule will figure out the Northwest division is where the action is in the Western Conference and put more Blazers games on national TV so I can see them.

Chances are teams would pick based on the record/seed regardless. But I'm sure there might be a few surprises where the number 1 team picks the number 2 just because haha

They could choose based on location or just a better match up, style of play, maybe an injury to a team.
