I'm sorry Chuck but that's bullshit. Enough is enough. They have taken liberties all series long with hits like that. AV needs to call out these refs for that crap already. He should have called them out earlier in the series because someone will seriously get hurt out there with these cheap hits from behind.
 
Thank god you idiots don't play for the Rangers otherwise we'd be in the box the whole game because you think it is smart to crosscheck someone after a missed call when we are in total control up 2-0.

Sorry but I disagree only because we can't let them take liberties. It only got compounded by lack of smarts by Girard and McDonough
 
And what did you prove 94...LOL. He knocked Stamkos on his a** MOVE ON. Dumb penalty that accomplished NOTHING outside of a PP for TB.

You get payback via your play, not by a dumb penalty when you are playing for your life in the 1st period.

That was a weak ass call on Kreider after the refs set that standard of what was acceptable after what Stamkos did. THAT is my problem. Kreider deserved a penalty, but so did Stamkos for his initial hit. Consistency doesn't exsist this series.

funny how ALL of us got pizzed at girardi years ago when he didn't defend his teammate, yea i get it its the playoffs, but the players they have to defend 1 another... stamkos is a punk if anything kreider should have gotten his moneys worth and knocked a few teeth out

Played well in the 1st period, now keep pushing and get ALL pucks on crappy Bishop. Even more angry about the lack of effort we played with in game 5 when you see Bishop again look awful.
 
Respectfully what I think you guys are missing is we are playing for our lives...this is not the time for payback via a dumb crosscheck that will do NOTHING except give TB a PP. What did that accomplish..I mean really. You need to learn how to control emotions and when you can get payback and when you need to be smart. What do you think Stamkos is saying right now...man that was perfect as we got a PP and we got back into the game.

Stamkos also kind of dove into those boards there too. It was a DUMB play by Kreider. I'm not disagreeing with that. I'm upset that the refs set a standard of legal and illegal hits on the Stamkos hit and then 5 seconds later changed what that standard is. I'm only upset about the lack of consistency, nothing else.
 
Kreider hit him and knocked him on his ass. What else do you want? The cross check was just plain stupid.

EXACTLY...he knocked him right on his a**...the crosscheck was dumb...period.

That is what you love and hate about Kreider. He plays on the edge, which is great a lot of times, but he also gets all fired up and takes some dumb penalties, and he needs to be careful and not cross the line.
 
The puck did get played right by Stamkos when Kreider cross checked him, and Stankos did fall into the boards pretty easily there, but as I've said, it WAS a penalty on Kreider there and stupid, but the refs are inconsistent with what's a penalty based upon who delivers the hit. If that was a Ranger hitting Stamkos like he hit McD, it's a penalty. Just want consistency is all, and that's not happening so far. Be nice if the refs realize that they messed up and owe us one now.
 
It is mind boggling that they cant play like this at the garden. I just don't get it why they can't do the same at MSG.
