With the injured Jason Kidd not at one hundred percent, Marcus Williams will get some extended minutes. This guy can really get out on the open floor and play, he is quick and creates problems for us on transition. This is a must win for the Raptors. Look for the Nets to really push and not want to warrant a game 7. The Nets are hungry, and its their homecourt.

If TJ and Jose aren't ready to go, we are screwed....Man, I hope we can win this game though...If we can, I dont think NJ will have any answer for our Game 7 crowd..

wrong section.btw, maybe my memory is bad but I don't remember first and second round games being played concurrently in the past.

If the Raptors lose the Pacers can start talking to Sam Mitchell with the permission of Brian Conjalango (Sp) or if he doesn't give permission they can after June 30th! 🪨 :yess:

Lets go Raps, I want the Cavaliers to get more rest and if they make a game 7 the next game for the 2nd round wont start until Next week. :)Right now, pretty good game and Toronto is playing pretty well as they have the lead right now 39-38. 3 minutes to go in the 2nd quarter.

Nice first half, it's good to see Toronto play well. Their perimeter players are playing fantastic so far. Ford was on fire, Calderon/Parker/Peterson did a solid job out there. Bosh hasn't done a great job, but I think he's gonna have a big 2nd half. I don't know who's gonna win this one, but I hope Toronto can force a Game 7.

Kidd and Bokie have done a great job out there, Carter and Jefferson can't hit anything. New Jersey is turning the ball over too much, they need to take better care of the ball in the 2nd half if they want to win this game.

</div>ok, it's funny, get over it.on another note: Barganani is awesome! He's gonna be a real player. His height and upper body strength remind me of Dirk Nowtitzki but he also seems to have a much more polished all around game. I could see Barganani becoming better than Dirk ever was someday. He is just unbeleivable.

OMG!!!! Did you guys see that Kidd to RJ alley-oop? That was incredible!!!!The Nets are starting to gain momentum.

Wow, New Jersey is on a HUGE run right now. Jason Kidd is amazing, Moore is fired up, RJ has been playing well (and that 1 handed extension was beautiful), and the crowd/bench is going nuts. I love this.

Wow, T.J. Ford is a ballhog. There have been several moments where he had an open teamate and didn't give them the ball. He is scoring though, so it's ok, I guess, but he should be passing more.

EDIT: Wow, that a play by Jefferson! What a spin move, such a big time play. 8.3 to go, Toronto down 1 with the ball. This is what playoff basketball is all about. Let's go Toronto! Get to the basket!

EDIT: F*ck.

What a terrible way to end the season for Toronto..they didn't even get a damn shot

Awesome win by the Nets. Kidd was incredible again, and RJ came up big a number of times down the stretch.

Nets win. All I know is that Toronto is going to be a GREAT team if they keep this team together. Calderon is just amazing and is only to get better. Anthony Parker played good in stretches, making some very difficult shots. Thank God the series is over lol Toronto was starting to worry me.

Why are you guys think he is defiantly staying? Of course you want him to say, but really how do we know he wants to stay?

im pretty sure he's going to stay. He's been the Raptors coach for the pst 3 years and hasnt been fired like the others after each year. Getting another coach sucks for our players, and Colangelo knows that as well. So since the season ended today the negotiations will start. I hear Mitchell is looking for 4 years $16million.

There's no way he returns. Colangelo is smart enough to get a REAL coach not resign that crap.

Im not as dissapointed as I thought I would be with the lose. I think the Raptors were on a high entering the playoffs knowing that they locked the division title and that they tied the franchise record for most wins in a season so it was a good slap in the face by having them grounded with this series lose. Anyways ill hope on the GSW bandwagon untill 07-08!!!

However, we fought our asses off and there is always next year to come back and get back at the Nets by taking the Atlantic again. We really underestimated Jason Kidd, Something I was stressing all series long. But we couldnt do anything about it, we dont have any big point guards. I dont feel entirely stupid when I told Jkidd that the Raptors might win in 6, because it looked that way coming in. However he was right, playoffs are different. Jason Kidd turned it on, and RJ and Carter stepped up at times. I really wouldnt put it past anyone to expect a Nets Detroit ECF. Im not counting them out.

Damn...what a close game...and what an agonizing defeat....oh my god...I was just speechless when we finally lost the game....it hasn't even hit me yet...Anyway, some thoughts on what was our final game of the season...:Chris Bosh looked really shaky early on in the game. Jason Collins was just hounding him, and shoving him around. Bosh settled for contested jump shots, and they weren't falling. It wasn't until the 4th when he really took initiative, and started to drive in for baskets. Both our PG's played inspired ball....TJ Ford was unbelievable in the 1st half...He was hitting everything left and right....he didn't pass the ball well the whole game...but he really shot, and scored the ball well....He created a spark, and helped us build an advantage going into the half...Jose Calderon was also good. He was nailing jumpers coming off of screens. His 17 footers are just a joy to watch...the rotation is just perfect...everything...it's just beautiful to watch..Anyway, he passed the ball better than TJ, but he still didn't have a great passing game.I would say Andrea was the POTG. He really had his shot going...He was nailing turnaround jumpers, mid rangers, threes, everything...He even had a nice move in the paint, that he just couldn't convert unfortunately...Mo was good...He hit shots when we needed him to...but he wasn't that involved in the offense...He just came in to play the best defense he could possibly muster against VC...and he did a pretty damn great job at it too...Anthony Parker was a bit of a letdown...I thought he was going to have one of his 24+ point huge offensive games...I swear it was deja vu 2 times over...He did the exact same thing 3 times...He curled off a screen, ran to the middle of the key, set his feet, and then sank the jumper...He just wasn't that involved later in the game...It's not that he played poorly or anything...Juan made 2 committed 2 straight travels during one stretch...I was yelling at him through the TV screen....but then he came back and nailed a long three, and that pretty much yielded my criticism towards him....For the Nets, Kidd was f*cking amazing...This game he actually scored the ball well...He made two straight threes....I think he finished with like 16 or 18 points...but it was his passing that killed us...man oh man...He's just like Steve Nash on the break...He finds the open man perfectly, reads the angles perfectly, creates plays out of nothing....this guy is just f*cking amazing....omg....RJ really did a great job too...He is so aggressive...every chance he gets, he'll try to attack and get to the line...and he was the one who got the game winner...yes, you guessed it...off of a JKidd pass....man....Dissapointing finish to our season...but hey...who the F*ck expected us to do this well? I'm just happy that this is only the first chapter....The rest of the book looks very, very promising...Until next time...!edit: Anyway,....hopefully the Cavs can thrash the sh*t out of these assholes..
