nurk didnt averaged much attempts per game (thats why his ppg were down) which is either his or stotts fault, but as far as rebounding goes, he was never "greedy rebounder", meaning he likes to clear space in order for his teammates to get the rebound, unlike kanter or whiteside who always go hard for the rebounds... the point is this: who gives a shit who gets the rebound, nurk or someone else, as long as its portland trail blazers player

however, given what nurk said after the game against memphis, it seems like it was a coaching decision to play him like that

They are reportedly resting JJJ so maybe that's kind of a push. The way we've been playing and the body language of our team, it wouldn't surprise me if this was another loss. At the same time, we could get hot right now and maybe this is when Dame starts going supernova. We'll just have to see.

his atrocious free throw shooting improved lately, which is showing he needed some continuity to get his rhythm back and we saw how good of a free throw shooter nurk was in the 18/19 and then in the bubble, so i fully expect his offensive game or should i say scoring ability to improve with time, rhythm is everyting

Portland may have the better record, but the trend is SO bad. Memphis comes out with energy and aggression. Blazers come out lethargic and not attacking the basket while the Grizz are living in the paint.

Let this era end.
 
Grayson Allen grabbed the rebound right in front of the basket and beat the entire Blazers team down the court for a layup.

While CJ can’t even keep Kyle Anderson in front of him. Anderson’s nickname is Slo Mo...
 
This feels like the season Nate got fired. Not necessarily the same amount of mutiny but feels like the team is at a similar low point.
